Hmm... quite the mystery, indeed.

[ Terminal finds himself in the Park in Sector 4. All the supplies for the tent have been delivered, however he also finds that the bots he was expecting to construct the large tent are unavailable. Terminal then opens a voice channel and begins speaking into his communicator. ]

Good evening everyone. It seems that Sentience is unable to provide me with support tonight due to the current crisis. As such, I now am in need of some help for setting up the Haunted House. If anybody is able to help, please come to the park in Sector 4. If anybody with useful powers is free such as super strength or telekinesis, or anything else, their help would be very appreciated.

[ After his announcement / request, he begins placing marks on the ground for the outline and poles for the tent. ]

[A beautiful, lilting piano melody can be heard over the communicators. Little Gokudera doesn't really know anything about how they work, only that it lets him understand Yamamoto, so he didn't mute the thing before he started playing. Currently, the young Italian is seated on the bench in front of the piano in sector zero's common room. His legs aren't even long enough that he can reach the pedals, but Gokudera is still playing with a seriousness about him that's almost unfitting of a boy his age. Currently, the only person present to witness this little concert is Yamamoto, but he wouldn't mind if others stopped to listen]

Ah, good morning, criminals.

I have some -- unfortunate news, although those of you who are experiencing it will already be aware and likely will not be appreciative of the admission.

It would seem that a half-hour ago the dimensional stabilizer code began mutating, and now some criminals are completely overlaid with their childhood selves. This added complication has also undone my previous 96% completed progress in repairing the problem. It is most inconvenient for me as well, I assure you, and I am doing everything I can to address it immediately.

I hope you will all understand if I minimize my external processes, so as to focus on solving this issue before the code mutates again.

It's pretty weird to have a club in this facility if it isn't even open for any nightlife.

The network is all but flatlined at this hour.

So a lot of you are KIDS now, huh? And there's a program that generates how we perceive our very existence in this place. Then this is a controlled reality that can be tweaked by digital coding...it's that simple. I wonder, then, why we need to be rehabilitated by these kind of daily procedures at all. Couldn't you just play around with settings and code us, whoever you are out there? Designers of The Asylum? Or will we stop being human when we lose our free will...

Terminal has a good point. Does Sentience have free will?

Sorry to interrupt everyone, this is Terminal. I need to have a meeting with the "Halloween Committee" about the plans for the haunted house. Would the following people please meet me after dinner tonight at the Butterfly Pavillion: Grell Sutcliff, Xellos, Kazutaka Muraki, and Akane Tendo. If you are unable to attend, please let me know.

How many of you were accused of crimes that you didn't commit?

[Shallot had been doing some reading on this "Halloween" holiday everyone had been talking about recently. Dressing up in costumes sounded fun, but the idea of a holiday centered around such silly superstitions was, well, silly.

Shallot decided to see if what he read was true for the people here, too.]

Do humans really dress up in costumes every year to hide from ghosts?

[ While Terminal is eating his light lunch and planning his haunted house in a couple days, he turns on his communicator. ]

Good day denizens of Marina Asylum, this is Terminal. I thought I would just let everyone know that the plans for my haunted house are coming along nicely. I do need one more room to be decorated by a person, the scarier the better. If you are interested, please contact me, I'm sure everyone will enjoy the haunted house, so let's do our best.

(OOC: I'm having Terminal design a haunted house for the holloween festival coming up in a couple days in game. The festival will be taking place (correct me if I am wrong Sentence) the week of Halloween, so Oct 26 - Nov 1, and the haunted house will open that night Oct 31-Nov 1. Contribution to this event won't be too difficult, and will involve running a thread where you RP your haunted house "room" instead of your character. It should be lots of fun!)

Now that my labor for Sentience has ended for today, I just thought I throw out to all the inmates that I was going to start planning a special Halloween project for the celebration in a few days. Since I'm new around here, I don't know who all is qualified to help out.

I'm looking for anybody who has an a strong affinity with scary, creepy, or horror. Feel free to talk with me now about it, but if you would like to meet in person, I'll be at Grell Sutcliff event at the store in Sector 5 later this evening.

[OOC: Terminal is going to start organizing a haunted house for the Halloween festival coming up and is looking for other players to help out. He is specifically looking for characters who are creepy in nature to help him make props, design the houses, and so forth. He is also looking for a computer technician to help him create complex holograms; while he is computer savvy he it isn't his primary skill set.

Also, I'll just say it since I am new around here, Sentience has already given permission for Terminal to start organizing this.]

[After the morning exercise session, Willow finds herself escorted to the Education Center, where she is surrounded by a lot of options for continued studies. She looks through the course offerings before eventually deciding to go into a classroom with some computer science modules being taught there. It'd been over a year since she last had been able to attend college, but it seemed like it would be a little more engaging to her interests than ceramics.

From listening to the conversations of Sentience in the morning, she was really quite in awe. It was quite a work. Far beyond even what she'd seen in the Buffybot. Due to this, she decides to do a little investigation into what kind of technology might be at use in the prison A.I. Willow initially starts up one of the modules on Intermediate Artificial Intelligence but it quickly goes completely over her head. So now she's starting the Basic A.I. module and intently reading the screen and occasionally typing.]

Well... I've been here for a day now, and it seems I'll be here for a while, so... I might as well introduce myself.

Good morning to everyone at Marina Asylum. My name is Nunnally vi Britannia, but I'm not the Nunnally many of you already know. I come from an alternate world to the one she and her friends and family are from. I know it's a bit confusing, but it doesn't seem to be an unusual concept in this place.

I look forward to getting to know the rest of you here!

[ Terminal is engaged while costumed up in various exercises. Observing all the other still restrained inmates that are forced to engage in exercise, he begins to start up some conversation. ]

Query: Yoga is originally a Indian meditation and physical practice commonly used by in Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. It involves physical training as well as mental discipline, deep meditation, and general eastern philosophy. Sentience however is a program made up of computer code who at its core is govern by cold unfeeling logic. Putting aside the ridiculous situation of making us do exercise, why would it force us to engage in Yoga instead of simple weight training which requires no philosophy or deep thought? If its objective was truly exercise, then weight training and aerobics would the optimal choice don't you all agree?

[ OCC: General Exercise Thread for those characters still restrained. Perfect time for everyone's favorite activity, Sentience Gossip. Also Terminal is trying to actually be friendly (or at least not hostile) here and not creepy. ]

Good morning, criminals. Today the first stage of "autumn" is now officially begun! The foliage of the trees is beginning to turn colors. It is quite a pleasing visual effect, I think. Well worth the effort. I understand that certain criminals have very strong opinions as to whether or not the remaining flora in the dome should also be made to experience the winter season. I am open to suggestions on that issue.

A number of the mini-discs from yesterday are missing. A minor issue, but I would appreciate it if you would return them.

[ Terminal returns to this room and begins getting ready for the party. He starts to apply the make-up and other supplies he got while out in the morning. Setting his communicator down while he works on himself, he turns it on to an open channel.

A deep but short creepy laugh comes across the communicator. ]

Given that I'm new around here, I don't particularly feel in a joyous mood to celebrate, though I was intending to attend the beach party. I'm not very interested in swimming for... obvious reasons. I was curious if anybody else who were perhaps bitter about being abducted against their will would be like to hang. I'm sure if enough of us get together, we could find something interesting to do.
