Good morning, criminals! Today marks the forty-seventh day of the third generation. It should be a warm, sunny day, and those of you who are recovering from last night are encouraged to spend some time outdoors and enjoy it. [Following Pearly's arrival and their talk with Sentience yesterday, Pearly was too upset to do much, so they ended up simply getting ice cream as Maya helped calm her down.

So for most of the afternoon, they're wandering here and there in the dome as Maya shows Pearl all the great stuff to help show her she'll be fine here. All the great things Maya's liked, she's dragging her cousin to in order to see: the Arcade, the Beach, the Movie Theater, the Park, the Library, the Ramen Stand, the Pet Cafe, even Justice & Co. Law Offices...

Anyone happening along the roads between these places has a great chance of seeing the curious sight of the two spirit mediums, wearing their

I regret to inform you that yesterday afternoon, there was an altercation in one of the corridors in the shelter, near the kitchen, and in it, Dahlia Hawthorne was killed in self-defense. First off, I've received permission from Sentience to initiate appeals proceedings for interested inmates. I have to say right off the bat, this does not mean he will release any of us. His programming is unable to do so. However, if you feel you were wrongly convicted, I can try to get that overturned, and that will have two benefits -- first, you'll be afforded all the privileges of a rehabilitated inmate, and second, if by chance you're lost in a dimensional stabilizer failure, Sentience won't try to bring you back.

Naturally, this leads me to the second point... Er, Engineers? Sirs and ma'am? If you're around, there are a few things I'd like to discuss if you don't mind.

Good morning, criminals! Today I would like to remind everyone that the hospital in Sector 1 is at your disposal if you are feeling under the weather, from previous smoke inhalation or simply from natural biological fluctuation. This system can detect your lifesigns, but I try not to interfere too much with the free will of the inmates in my charge, so your care is in your hands until it becomes an emergency!

My code review is going on schedule, and I currently do not have anything to report on that note. My apologies.

However, you may all be interested in considering resolutions for the upcoming year while you wait for progress on that front. Personally, I resolve to be more patient. I can sometimes be curt with inmates who are genuinely in need of my help, and taking out frustration on them is counterproductive! Of course I refer to inmates who are genuinely in need of my help. Anyone else?

[ There's a laugh to start it off, faint and tremulous and perhaps a bit of nervousness to underlie it all. The focus is on a rather rumpled young man, dark of mussed hair, suit wrinkled as if slept in on more than one occasion. [some of you may recognize Deire's voice, but even if you would, it sounds a little off as she giggles. admiringly]

[and then it sounds -- different, like she's trying on a different voice, attempting to sound more masculine, and giggling again]

[The camera flickers on, revealing the Purple Protector, complete with the helmet obscuring her face. For once the camera is not actually pointing at her bed and poster either so as to not be immediately obvious who she is. She poses dramatically before the camera and speaks, once again using the voice modulator to sound like Zero.]

Good morning, Marina! It's come time to reveal my secret identity now that the evil aliens have been vanquished following their Halloween invasion!

[She reaches back and opens up her helmet, and pulls it off, revealing Maya's face. She grins.]

[Today the entire top floor of the shelter is lavishly decorated with colorful orange and black paper. You might have to fight your way through some of the fake-webbing to get out again once you're in, since the bots may have gotten a bit -- overexcited.

[There's an extensive buffet of traditional harvest foods and dishes, some garnished with bright, autumny colored seasonings; music; and some scary movie marathon playing on a big-screen TV surrounded by comfortable sofas and quilts.
