He's standing in front of a large dry-erase board, with three different colored markers between his fingers, so that with a turn of his wrist, he's ready to write with any one of them.

He's been at this a while. The board is bisected, one side his headed with Sentience, the other with Acumen. Each is immediately followed by the respective etymology, and a couple of relevant usages in classic literature. There are some notes on the nature of the AIs, some snatches of quotes pulled from its conversations with others. The writing gets smaller as it goes down the board, as Reid starts needing more and more space to get his thoughts together.

Okay! Today is the day! I am owed dates and meetings with several people still. I want to start by making sure all the vampires that I won or made a deal with are ready to sit down and talk with me! In two hours time I want all of you to meet me in the kitchen so I can talk to all of you. Yes, this includes the grumpy one with the cat. Oh! And before I forget. Kyon and Mikuru arrived here yesterday. They are my subordinates and will likely be doing observations for me. But keep in mind, they already belong to me! As cute as Mikuru is, you can't have her. She's already filling my moe quota!

[Don't be surprised. It's video, as per usual. His gaze is down cast, in fact, he doesn't once look up at the camera. There's a small cough before he readies himself to speak, but nothing alarming. It's a common occurrence, some may be aware by now, to see Yoite coughing.]

[The image flickers to life. It's Sasuke, sitting on the roof of his house. He's too tired to train today, so he's restless and bored, and it shows. His shoulder is bandaged, and he looks tired and a little annoyed. When he speaks, though, his voice is even.]

[He says this very casually. He's hoping the tone will keep people from making sympathetic comments or asking probing questions about anything other than the nature of the disease.]

[The AI of the prison warden had been replaced...she hadn't had anything to do with Sentience, but listening to the peoples' reactions to the new development...they had liked Sentience. Some were even desperate to get it back.

Data that was deleted could be reconfigured...she knew that. Gatomon was a Digimon, after all. When they died, the data would just be reconfigured...

But this has made her uneasy. Enough to wander around and let her guard down a little. She really needed information...but she wasn't sure how to go about it. So instead she wanders, thinking]

[He's practically shouting. Then quiets down, as if talking to himself... Thinking out loud, perhaps?]

[The picture of a girl holding her head as if in pain appears on the screen and her eyes are closed for a few seconds before she begins speaking and opens them. The look on her face shows her immense confusion and she's obviously unaware the video is on. She takes a minute, noticing the words floating in front of her and read the "welcome message" they gave.]

[She stands lookes around the room only to be stopped by the ball and chain on her ankle. In an attempt to cut it she reaches for her zanpaktou only to find that it's not at her side. She seems like she's about to freak out again but takes a deep breath to calm her self.]

I guess it’s better that I’m here now. I wouldn’t have been much help in the condition I’m in. Although I would like to know what happened with Ichigo…….

[Looking around at her suroundings and finally noticing the headset on her head and the fact that it seemed to be recording everything she had been doing.]

What is this thing? I’ve never seen anything like it. Maybe it’s a communication device…..?

[She looks straight as if actually speaking to somebody and plays around with the mic until it's where she wants it to be]
