Remember that heatwave we had just the other day? Yeah, that wasn't just an unusually warm day in prison. That was the first sign of a much greater problem in the system.
Starting on
Day 379 (June 6-12) the inmates will notice a decline in the usually spotless services of the prison, the most noticeable being a complete absence of maintenance bots cleaning up or manning the bot-run restaurants. This is the start of our
three day event that will culminate on
Day 381 (June 20-26). More information on what comes after will be released as we get closer to that date. For now, the inmates of Marina will experience the following:
• No maintenance bots out cleaning or manning stores or restaurants. Sentinels will still be active.
• No incoming deliveries of fresh supplies, including food. There will still be access to clean water, though water pressure may be low. No long hot showers for you!
• Electricity levels fluctuating, which can lead to brownouts or the occasional brief blackout. This will not affect the artificial daylight.
• The kiosk going on and off, related to the power outages.
• Temperatures occasionally dropping, especially at night.
• The hospital will still be operational and at full capacity.
Note: There is already an abundance of goods to begin with, so while the inmates will notice a decline it's not life threatening. Of course, they are more than welcome to interpret it as such!
