Hey Marina!

I'm Gidget, and I played someone here an age and a half ago but this time I'm bringing Han Solo, who is decidedly less Canadian and also from a galaxy far, far away. He'll be from the EU/Legends version of canon, after the movies but also during fun space dinosaur issues. It's a trip, and I apologize in advance for all the cranky, maladjusted-Wookiee-man things he will inevitably do.

Hello fellow inmates!

So it's Kitten/Heatchi, and I'm coming back after three years with one pureblood vampire princess, Yuuki Kuran! She'll be coming back with foggy memories of Marina Because its been so long I can't remember every single detail sob.. Come Monday I'll toss her into things and I'm looking forward to her rekindling old friendships and CR as well as making new friends!

I have a Permissions Post for her if people would like to hit it up, and a Stats page with general info on her in case anyone needs.

In addition to Yuuki however I've brought another dork along with me! Kija (backoftheline) from Akatsuki no Yona. He's Hakuryuu, The White Dragon warrior from within his canon, and possesses a dragon claw for a right hand. It has sacred abilities like turning into a yaoi hand and scratching people in the face. But in general it just means he has a super strong hand.

Overall Kija's a pure pure soul who gets off on fighting but can't talk with girls without flustering immensely and turning red in the face.




He's also terrified of bugs, is fairly inexperienced with things outside of his village, and will find all the technology here incredible. What is running water? And toilets are magic. His stats page is still unfinished but can be found here and his permissions post here. Also-! He's 'haunted' by thousands of his predecessors before him. He sort of tamed them without realizing it as he's completely unaware of their presence. But if your character is able to see spirits and the like, you're welcome to take note!

Anyway! Hello hello! My name is Xae and I'm brand new to MarinaNova buuuut I kinda maybe stalked it at times. I'm not new to IJ though it's been about a year since I played on it. Maybe longer. idk anymore. Today I'm bringing you not just one but two! It was clearly a BOGO app month for a lot of us.

First up is this guy here - Zeno from Akatsuki no Yona. He is known as Ouryuu or the Yellow Dragon. Anyone feeling a theme coming on yet? It's said that he's supposed to have a durable body but if you cut him, he bleeds - if you punch him, it hurts like hell... if you chop off his head, he can reattach it. THAT'S RIGHT, INMATES - YOU HAVE ONE BONAFIDE IMMORTAL TEEN. He's nothing like those ridiculous vampires around who can live for a while but aren't truly immortal. No, Zeno is eternally 17 in both body and spirit. Most of the time. He comes off as rather childish and doesn't actually tell people how long he's been alive or what his true ability is as the Yellow Dragon. But he'll be all up in your business, eating all kinds of new foods, playing with technology and I swear to god - he will be the sunshine you never knew you missed. Just put food in front of him and he'll be occupied. Also, he's married to this cutie.

Secondly I have Soushi Minashiro from Soukyuu no Fafner. The first season came out a while ago, back when giant mecha was so popular. So that's right, there are giant mechanical bots that people get in and fight with so I'm sure he'll get along fairly nicely with the other pilots in game. Although, Soushi is kind of awkward socially so yeah. Also, he's part alien. Yes you read that right - part alien. Fafner's big enemy are giant gold aliens that came to Earth a while back and decided to wipe out humanity and so they've been fighting ever since. He lives on a tiny, movable island and has special abilities. Which... I will get a permissions post up for him after work tonight because they involve mind-reading and assimilation. Though chances are good that Soushi won't use either on anyone.

So those are my dorks. One who will harass everyone and the other who doesn't know how to people.

Hello, hello, my name is Yume, am new to Marina and I'm bringing you Doctor Victor Frankenstein from the video game Code Realize!

Yes, yes, you have read that right. He's based on that novel-character, though the portrayal is not all that accurate. as far as I heard and shame on me, I still need to read it. This Victor is a kind, somewhat timid young man who gets pushed around easily, but gets either very serious or really dorky (do you want to try drugs that induce abnormal states of cheerfulness? Yes, he puts it like that in game, sob) when it comes to his fields of interests, which are mainly alchemy, medicine, but also gardening and he has some experience with teaching. He usually puts his knowledge to good use and uses/makes/creates chemicals. He's gonna be so pumped to learn all those new technology-things here. He also manages to man up when it's something he feels very passionate about and... he's wanted as a violent terrorist in canon.

Heeeeey, here's another new person that was dragged into the Akatsuki no Yona bandwagon. I'm Kiri, and I'll be playing Kaya, who's a cute (about to be) dead girl.

So actually, she's a one-chapter character from a flashback. She had an incurable disease that might or not be tuberculosis, but she lived the last part of her life isolated in a hut so people wouldn't catch this illness. (Don't worry, I brought her cured.) Kaya is really sweet and cheerful, but doesn't know much about her own medieval-Korea-like country, much less other places. She'll have a hard time to understand the technology and different cultures (or hell, that this isn't even the afterlife!), yet she's willing to learn! :D She's a sad cinnamon roll who really doesn't belong in a prison, so please be nice to her or her badass in-law family and husbando will mess you up.

My name is Yumi and I am new here, both in Marina and on InsaneJournal. I may therefore be ignorant to plenty of things. If that is the case, please reach out to me any time and tell me so I can improve!

I am bringing you Yona from Akatsuki no Yona, the series' main character and resident princess. That doesn't mean however that she is a fragile little girl. As her list of crimes shows she is quite capable of taking care of herself and pretty handy with a bow and sword. She also has one of the most dedicated bodyguards around in Kija, so you might do good in not trying to harm her. A white dragon is nobody you should make your enemy after all!

Hey all! My name is Alsie and I'm brand new around here, with two characters along with me.

First is Kazuki Makabe, from the sadly little known mecha series, Soukyuu no Fafner. As it says on the tin, Kazuki is the ace pilot of the series. Personality-wise, though, take what you get with the typical shounen protag, and completely throw it out the window. Kazuki is one of those incredibly selfless and kind types, terrible with praise and doesn't like being the center of attention, and honest to a fault. He'll likely be rather curious about all of this, and the whole different worlds thing, albeit also seriously wary/even paranoid. He's also a completely natural and skilled athlete- while more importantly, a pretty amazing cook, able to do so even when blind. Prepare to taste the best curry ever, Marina!

Additionally, like his bff Soushi, Kazuki is part alien, and can both read minds, and is capable of something called assimilation, so here is his permissions page. Also, anything and everything about him can be found through here!

Second is Zero Kiryuu of Vampire Knight, who will be coming from (roughly) the end of the series (one month after the ice tomb, for anyone canon familiar), and he's both a vampire hunter and a vampire. He's a serious type, and may come off as cold, along with being prickly, but ultimately he's really a good guy. Not to mention he has the patience of all the saints combined, and an extreme level of being able to remain composed. Also, being what he is, I have a permissions page for Zero. Vampire traits aside, his senses when it comes to being able to tell if one is a vampire (or not a human in general) are incredibly sharp, so if there are any other vampires around, it'd be great if you dropped a comment there. :> ——Generally speaking, too, here's his navigation post.

ALSO!! I'm already aware that he's been here before, which he'll learn of from Yuuki. I'm admittedly shameless in looking forward to having him meet with anyone who knew him before, so bring it on. 8')
