Not human. [Not getting a real look at her hasn't stopped him from forming an impression. Torchwood will do that to you.] Not a species I knew, but she reminded me of some of them. Sometimes we'll find something or someone so completely and utterly alien you can't really find a way to describe or understand them at first. Everything is too different, even basic impressions don't translate well. She's easier to talk to here since she appears human. Overall she strikes me as very professional. It's hard to get her opinion on something, but that leads me to take her facts at face value since that seems to be what she focuses on as important.

Why we're here is the same answer they've given us from the start really, nothing different from our crime lists. But she's mentioned other things. I think quite a few of the unusual events that happen here are computer glitches or even active sabotages from third party groups. After Jack disappeared I asked here if they'd deliberately taken him away and she essentially said that they don't do it delibertly, it's more system failures. Oh, and I get the impression that there are other prisons as well but I don't have any details on it.

There's been such a long dry spell, he's kind of reeling from the relief. ] We've been to other prisons, so I think that's a safe bet to make... and we've been in contact with other AI, so I suppose it's only logical that there would be other groups running them. Well that's the interesting thing. She pointed out that it's a large, complicated system and God knows the Rift Manipulator acted up enough times back home for me to believe that. But she definitely implied there have been acts of sabotage, too, either from the other prisons or outside groups, in not entirely sure. Whoever they were they were certainly responsible for when all those doors opened up that let us out of the simulation.
