I suppose there is that. [And he has to concede that there's a certain appropriateness in shooting at them with dick-shaped bullets. (His memories of the 'future' may be fuzzy but dick-shaped bullets are the kind of thing that stick in the memory!)

[That first comment gets him an odd look. His future memories may be a little fuzzy but he remembers enough about Wade to get that yeah, he used to have that too and is understandably bitter about not having it any more. But at the same time, he's pretty sure his good looks are not the main reason for Ianto's earlier enthusiasm.]

It's the way we connect. [Spreading his hands helplessly, because he still wishes they were better at connecting with words. And then grins, because - hey.] At least it was really good connecting, though!

Thanks. [There's a lot of warmth in that single word. That future where they were friends may have been mostly fictional, but he remembers that Wade helped him through a lot of dark times and it means a lot.]

Not sure where we go from here, to be honest, but I guess it's just one of those things where you have to wait and see.

[A movement catches the corner of his eye and he makes an exaggerated sigh.] Sorry. I seem to have brought a bot with me!
