Neil was a little selfish, or so he thought of himself. But he wasn't selfish enough to stop people from finding their way home. Not even the ones he loved through and through.

(Or even especially the ones he loved so much - they deserved the freedom all the more, wanting it.) ]

It does seem rather ghoulish, to look around for somebody who is dying, but...

I rather think it might be one of the very few possibilities that you haven't thought of, by now.

	[Tieria hummed a bit, a thoughtful sound as he snuggled into the hug.] It does. That's likely one of the reasons I hadn't considered it. [He frowned.] Also, I know that, as far as people who might be dying of an illness, the prison seems to take care of that aspect, so that's not something we can just go around asking about. We humans are crazy. We are trying to get better, but... sometimes it shows.

Sometimes, though, people get hurt badly and call for help. And, sometimes, people get hurt close, but trying to seek for a breakthrough at the time seems... the last thing to think of. [ He kissed the top of Tieria's head. Lingering. ] There is a way, Tieria. And you belong with those who rely on you.

But I will definitely enjoy each day that you are by my side.
