[She takes a seat, a little confused. He didn't plan this for her, right?] You went deep kind of fast. It's hard to know for sure, but you've seen all the same things I have. [At least in her mind he's been in his body in the actual prison exploring the fluids they preserve their bodies with and the technology that keeps their muscles stimulated and connects their minds in this state. The whole system is designed to run very well with little to no input. It gets power from the ocean around them but some of it is finite and some of the people here aren't. It's not great.]

I just wonder if whoever is in charge will consider us worth preserving if there isn't a large enough population left.

Whoever is in charge? Do you think someone is still watching this prison? [In her mind it's been overthrown, but that means they took out the wardens and the engineers. They know there are other facilities and other engineers and maybe people over them. It's not crazy to think they are still watched from a distance. They just haven't had any awareness of that as far as she knows for the last twenty years. So in her mind it would almost be a good thing if someone was from the perspective of those who are everlasting. Because her thought was that one day they would run out and fall out of the stabilizer and their bodies would do whatever their bodies would. It's not a great thought.]

	Why wouldn't they be? [Though, his meaning for the phrase might be different than hers.
