[ Aidan gave up on studying some time ago, finally accepting that he's an idiot and that he's fine with that. He still stops by from time to time to keep the life skills class going, though after all this time there's hardly anyone left who needs it. Truth be told, hanging out at school is more for nostalgic reasons than anything else. Euphie. Helix, to some degree. A lot of people, really, only a handful of them still here.

Yeah, just tryin' to clean up a little before class starts. [Kanji will never ever be book smart but at least he knows what a book is now. But he likes practical classes, ones he can use in every day life. And he likes teaching, way more than he would have expected when Euphie convinced him to try all those years ago.] How come you're here instead of gardening today?

You ever thought 'bout teachin' a gardening class? I'd go to that. [Not that he doesn't enjoy relying on Aidan for cooking class supplies.]

One of my friends and his little sister had a garden growing up, it used to be fun to go help them with it. [He doesn't know quite when he stopped thinking of Inaba as home but it happened. Then again, he's been here longer than he'd been alive when he arrived here. This place is home now.]
