[ Around The Dome ]

[ 20 years and John Constantine is still... John Constantine. He's gotten people killed, betrayed others he's loved, added more failed relationships to his list, and lost a thumb and a nifty scar on his face. Our boy Johnny is strutting around the dome, cigarette in his mouth, seemingly nothing different.

Then again that's just until you try to talk to him. ]

[ zed felt dizzy. something was different. something was wrong. her head was full of visions that didn't make any sense. she doesn't even think of posting a video, of trying to reach out to someone that way. the visions hit her as soon as she leaves the place she's called her own.

she was seeing glimpses of things which she knew hadn't happened yet - but somehow she knew they had. how was that possible? what had happened?

zed isn't sure how long she's been walking around the dome. she's lost track of time, she's almost lost in her own head. so when she finally spots john it's almost jarring. ]

John!

[ she doesn't even hesitate, she doesn't realize she's practically yelled his name as she sprints over to him. ]

[ John swears to himself at the familiar voice.

Things didn't end well with him and Zed, just like always. They remained that air of professionalism and contacted each other when they needed to. Beyond that? He tried to put as much distance as he could between them. That was what he did when he was hurt. John threw up the defensive walls and strode off to fight evil by himself. Because that was what he did, and he was a complete fucking moron for doing it.

He half turns to look at her, opening his mouth to say something, then firmly shutting it. No - that's wrong. She was younger. John knew her body perfectly. If it wasn't the lack of wrinkles around the eyes, it was the fact that her hair wasn't adorned with blaring white streaks like it ought to have been.

Which meant that once again, the Wardens were fucking with them. ]
