[ Camping out on the beach is fun, right? Sleeping under the stars, lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves and the rustling in the palm fronds. This isn't a refugee camp, this is a resort!

Several larger tents have been prepared on the beach. If this isn't enough there's a bunch of smaller ones ready to be set up, along with the permanent beach huts if tents aren't your thing. The makings of hot dogs and s'mores are available by the fire pits and if you have additional dietary desires, the convenience store isn't far away!

(( ooc: Event information HERE! Please remember that if your character does not spend the night on the beach, they'll be forced to camp out on a park bench or in a coffee shop. The apartment buildings are off limits until next dayweek. ))

It's not just hugs. I don't like to be touched at all. [But why? Does he even know why? He used to love getting hugs and cuddling up to his sister and holding hands. Everything changed so fast.]

I've been on my own for a while. And alone. [He starts fumbling with the skull ring on his finger, twisting it around and around.] No one wants to be around someone like me. If someone's going to touch me, it's to send me the other direction, not ... not because they want a ... a hug ... or ... And ... I don't blame them. [He trails off there, voice wavering.]

[ Well, that's just about the saddest thing he's heard in forever. Familiar, too. Both with how Helix used to react and with himself, lately. Unexpected physical contact makes him anxious, but if he sees it coming it's like a lifeline right before you're about to drown. ]
