294 // beach mingle
[ Camping out on the beach is fun, right? Sleeping under the stars, lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves and the rustling in the palm fronds. This isn't a refugee camp, this is a resort!

Several larger tents have been prepared on the beach. If this isn't enough there's a bunch of smaller ones ready to be set up, along with the permanent beach huts if tents aren't your thing. The makings of hot dogs and s'mores are available by the fire pits and if you have additional dietary desires, the convenience store isn't far away!

	[Well, she's not happy about losing her apartment for the day, but she nothing if not adaptable. Camping out on the beach is hardly a hardship. Her tent is up and in working order in no time, and Snowball's tripping through the sand by the front flap while she cross-legged watching the waves. This is nice.] (Reply to this) (Thread)

Hi. [Approaching the other woman, just a little hesitantly. They'd had nice conversations before, but she wasn't sure who had heard her messages about killing all the Japanese or apologizing for it, but likely more than just those who responded.]

It's kind of nice, isn't it? [The beach and the gathering.] It reminds me a little of the old prison.

	Oh, yes, this is the second one we've been in. Well, some of us have been in. We were all transferred at one point. We had different wardens before and some of the facilities were different, but it was still an underwater dome called Marina. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	I suppose that's true. [She makes a quiet sound of musing.] It is strange to think that some of us remember so much more about this place now than others.
