294 // beach mingle
[ Camping out on the beach is fun, right? Sleeping under the stars, lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves and the rustling in the palm fronds. This isn't a refugee camp, this is a resort!

Several larger tents have been prepared on the beach. If this isn't enough there's a bunch of smaller ones ready to be set up, along with the permanent beach huts if tents aren't your thing. The makings of hot dogs and s'mores are available by the fire pits and if you have additional dietary desires, the convenience store isn't far away!

(( ooc: Event information HERE! Please remember that if your character does not spend the night on the beach, they'll be forced to camp out on a park bench or in a coffee shop. The apartment buildings are off limits until next dayweek. ))

[Kitty shows up with her bag of stuff she grabbed from the apartment. Claws are on, uniform is in the bag along with another change of clothes, and wrapped up in the clothes is the framed picture of her and Reid from the photo booth. She feels like she has something illicit with her. After all, they're broken up now, but she couldn't just leave it there. She doesn't exactly trust the bots.

She did manage to grab a few hours of sleep last night though. It didn't quite make up for everything she missed, but at least she's not a zombie as she walks the beach. No brains will be harmed if she is approached.]

[She should really ask first or at least assume it could be something else. She did take a leave of absence from the force after all even if she still helped out during the storm. It could also be the tired look or the general miserable vibes she's giving off, but instead of taking any of that into consideration she goes right for what her thoughts are on.] Was there a newsletter or something? The Reid and Kitty Break Up Gazette?
