[ Data is not quite laughing himself, though behind the serious demeanor he's adopted, he's actually finding a curious response from his emotion chip. Fun, he determines. He'll need to make a note of that.

He creeps along, covering himself behind a short wall - of course, even an android has to expose himself slightly to ascertain his target's position, so he peers out over the top of the wall wall, his very serious weapon not drawn but held at the ready. ]

	[ Data doesn't do much to prevent the hit, instead emerging more fully from his cover to aim after his now-moving target. Given the fact that the activity is intended for heat, he surmises that the true purpose is not likely to remain dry. So sure, he'll take a few hits. Considering the chemical makeup of your biology, if you have developed such an adverse reaction to hydrogen oxide, I believe that you may have be facing more significant issues.
