[ her heart raced at the slight shift in wind, the creak that suggested victory. She held her breath again, giving it another second to settle, another second for her attacker to relax.

And then she moved, spinning on her heel and flexing her arm, sending a zooming balloon into the space just above the branch. She won't wait to see if it strikes, because she's flitting behind another tree, another bush. But it won't be a perfect fit. The tree she is hiding behind is a pure, perfect white. ]

It slows her, but she's still sneaking off, circling his tree and trying to off load a shoe so she can more easily pace herself around the circumference. 	[Lyle does have the advantage of height, but the maneuverability. He's pretty much stuck where he is for the most part. As she starts running, he does jump to another large branch that will hold his weight so he's not in the same spot as before. Taking another turn, another weave between the trees, she came to a stand still behind a bush, knowing that what happened next would be crucial. If she could just crawl unnoticed through the foliage... She might even be able to get behind him. She had one last balloon before she was out of ammo and then it was anyone's fair game on if she'd make it to a bucket in time. ]

[ she crouched, sliding one stockinged foot over a root and then a second one, looking more surefooted then she felt. How often had she done this? Far too many. But there's a muffled hiss as she comes across a dead end and with very careful movements, she pushes a branch out of the way. It was that or scraping the ground and she wasn't about to ruin a good blouse for this fight. ]

[ if she had realized her cover was less dense then suspected, she may have chosen a different route. As it was, the spray from his water gun hits her squarely, coating her shoulder in a plume of water. Swearing under her breath, she dropped full to the ground, seeking the nearest coverage.

After a moment's pause, she called out, peering upwards ]
