[Sure, she's dressed for the occasion. And she's trying. She really is. But the beach on a hot day in broad daylight (artificial or not, in this heat) really is no place for a vampire. Even with her large parasol it's doing little good in the blaring light of the sun, reflecting off the hot sand and brightness of the water. It stings her eyes, which were created for a nocturnal creature.

Slumping beneath the shade of a tree, she wonders if it can possibly get any hotter or brighter. In times like this she misses the cooler climate of home.]

	They aren't bad. It's more a combination of the heat mixed with the bright light. [She rubs the back of her neck] The sun wouldn't do anything weird to me at home, other than that fact that bright light in general is a little painful.
