[He nods, holding up a finger as he begins to explain.]

You put on a blindfold, and then hit the watermelon with a stick. The first person to crack it open is the winner... though you don't really win anything. Unless you really like watermelon, then I suppose getting to eat it is your prize.

It will take a couple tries, but people can have multiple turns if they wish.
