Might as well be, right? [ Claire sucks in a sharp breath, bracing herself for... She's not really sure what, honestly. For him to be cold, or... Weird and corpse-like, or something. She shivers at the touch to her cheek, but she leans in to him and accepts his lips readily. It's not altogether unpleasant. In fact, it's really very pleasant, and it makes her a little more aware of the strange semi-crush she's developed on him. She always figured it was just the bond of immortality or something, but... He's a good kisser. Her belly knots a little, in a good way. ]

[ She asked for a good kiss and a good kiss is what she's going to get. He's not too self-conscious about his lack of breath or cold skin but it still makes him wonder about what's going through her head right now. He's never socialized with the living in quite this way before. Never really stopped to think about how someone who isn't used to vampires would react.

Little by little he pushes into the kiss, lips parted and hand moving back to cup the back of her head. Nice and easy. ]

[ She brings her hands to his cheeks at first, but gradually slides them around his neck. She's getting a little more into this than she expected. He's cold, but it's not altogether unpleasant, and the earnestness in his kiss more than replaces natural warmth.

The slow parting of lips sends a shiver up her spine, but she matches the movements anyway, and she pulls herself closer to him. A soft sound leaves through her nose, a tiny sigh, and she decides this is a much better thing than she thought it would be. ]

[ It's probably not a great un-life decision, kissing her like this when he's already involved with someone else but although Spike was never one to stray, he also has a horrible track record with bad un-life decisions. It's just a kiss, right? It's not like he can deny that he's attracted to her, but they both have their sights set on someone else and so a forced kiss is all they can have.

It's okay, really. Even as he deepens it further. Even as he steps in closer to press against her. ]

Time will be the teller. But this is forced. They couldn't avoid kissing right? And she's unaware of the fact that they could have quit ages ago...

She makes another soft sound, though louder this time, in her throat. She presses against him and gets bolder, kissing a little harder. ]

[ He's still not stepping away from her and although he's unwrapped his arm from her waist, it's only to move a hand to her shoulder. Still keeping her close. She's one of the few people in this godforsaken dome that he enjoys having around and he's not going to fuck this up over nothing if he can help it. ]
