[She catches sight of the bot only seconds after it appears. This time, other than feeling annoyed or frustrated at being caught yet again...she grins. Amused and eager to see how he reacts.]

You just had to go and jinx yourself.

[Turning back, she takes a step forward even before the bot has a chance to start shouting at them.]

Come on, this way.

Admittedly, playing "tag" with the bots is kind of fun.]

[Because, right now, they're looking at an area that was anything but. Zatanna had already lost track of exactly how far they'd run, and where they were heading. Back alleyways weren't her usual means of transportation, so she trusted Robin to navigate better than she could.]

[It took a few seconds to adjust to the lighting, and she made sure to stick close to Robin, just in case. Even though the two of them sticking together was most likely the only reason they were still being chased.]

[But, you know. Whatever.]

I think I see a back door entrance up ahead. [It looked a little similar to the entrances she and her dad would use when arriving at theaters] Think it's unlocked?

[And if it isn't, could they get in anyway?]

Kiss!" almost sounded--if it were even possible--both annoyed and slightly out of breath.]

[There was less than a foot of space between them now, the barrier pressing more persistently than usual. Possibly because they'd dared attempt to escape.]

[She didn't notice when the bot behind them shot out its confetti with a cheer before heading off again. She didn't notice that they were both completely covered in the stuff now. Her arms draped lightly around his neck, hair falling on both sides of their faces, shielding them from the rest of the world. It was just the two of them and the moment. A very, very good moment.]

[Something she audibly expressed when they eventually did part, smiling widely up down at him. By about an inch or two.]

You know...I'm starting to think those bots aren't so bad after all. You?
