Boy did Martha understand that. But as far as she's concerned, all vampire myths are probably more due to aliens like Torchwood's Janet. "I wouldn't be surprised if we did have something similar to vampires on my world. They'll show themselves all in good time." She doesn't seem too concerned by that fact.

Actually, Martha's more concerned about the robot coming through the door. "And that's my cue to leave," Martha quips as she sets her water down on the bar. She moves laterally along the bar, simultaneously trying to get as far from the robot and from Eric as possible. Even so, she wasn't sure she'd be quick enough. The robot was blocking her exit and making it difficult for her to get too far away from either.

	"Too many people begin to figure it out." There's too much information out there in general for people not to start looking and talking. 	"As am I, since we're keeping track." Eric comes around the bar to stand in front of Martha, glancing to the bots. It's not as if he can evaluate what the bot wants out of them, but he'd like to try. He also looks like he'd like to pull the bot apart so that it's simply wires and broken bits. 	Eric is a good deal taller than most people so he is accustomed to bending down to kiss someone. Sookie is very short. He presses his lips against Martha's, keeping the kiss chaste enough, waiting for the confetti to announce the end of the kiss. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Martha pulled away at the confetti outburst and turned towards the robot, intending to catch it. Said robot was already on it's way out the door however. "Damnit..." she breaathed as she brushed confetti out of her hair. "Haven't caught one yet." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Martha shook her head in bemusement. "No clearly not." She saw another bot whizz by and pause in front of the bar before continuing on. "Right, since they do come inside, I think I'm going to take my chances out on the street where I at least can give people a wide berth."

She waved a distracted goodbye at Eric before turning and stepping out the door. A quick look left and right and she was on her way.
