That said, the Tease can live a long life inside a person without doing a speck of harm. They do live inside me as it is, you know? [He taps his chest, just to give Reid the tiniest reason to hold on to the heeby-jeebies he might have about Tease in his body, albeit untrue.] And as long as you're alive when this barrier falls, all's well.

[He can do plenty of evil things and still have that happen. Like how he brushes forward, close, too close, tilting Reid's chin intimately upward with his hand.] How against taking our time are you?

[ Might be trying to convince himself that he would feel something if Tyki did plant a bug in him, as it were. He's definitely doing a good job at feeding Reid's paranoia and depending on how the rest of this day goes... who knows.

If he could back up anymore than he already has, he would. Instead he struggles against the gentle coaxing with little success — he knows what they need to do in order to escape. He just doesn't like it at all. ]

Just get it over with.

[Now that offers a genuine snort, though some parts of that he will agree on. He's long past being entirely human, human on all levels-- but still, he clings to that humanity and was born from it. Snickering.] You're not as smart as you think you are.

[He grins, drawing out precious seconds by breathing deep against Reid's jawbone and almost nuzzling his way along it. "Get it over with"? Why hurry.]

[ He swallows. Tries to remember that Tyki is just trying to get under his skin and that it's nothing to pay attention to, but it still works better than he cares to admit. A slow-working poison, a jab in a tender spot. It's pathetic how well it works, but work it does.

Jaw set, he tries to endure. Chances are it'll only take longer if he tries to push it and as much as it makes his skin crawl to let Tyki have his way, he doesn't exactly have an abundance of choices here. Sooner or later they have to do it or be crushed to death together. ]

Slowly he edges his lips towards Reid's, purposely breathing against his skin. [And just when you think it's going to go on forever, as Tyki does thoroughly enjoy drawing things such as this out, confetti sprinkles down and the barrier dissipates in an instant. But Tyki's tight clutch of the other man's sides doesn't relent as fast-- a tight hold that keeps balance from toppling thanks to the mechanics of his abilities, albeit at a slight lean.

His lips peel back slowly, teeth bared in a dark grin. He looks and is thoroughly satisfied.]
