[ quinn's never been to the blood shack before and has had zero reason to visit it before now. if not for the bot that was floating behind her on her way out of the sector, she might have never stepped foot in it. but, in attempt to flee from it, she ducks inside and heads for a familiar face: stefan. it's not that she doesn't trust the vampires, because she actually likes eric northman well enough, it's that being a normal girl from a normal world and having the house beverage of choice flowing through her veins makes her a little nervous.

funny how the possibility of stefan being a vampire himself never crosses her mind. she just assumes people are hiding from the bots or have friends who are vampires. or have some sort of weird twilight thing going on. ]

These bots are getting ridiculous.

[ she does. rebekah told her that she and niklaus were vampires and quinn is strangely okay with it without having to be compelled. it's a strange combination of getting to know other non-humans in this place, being on good terms with eric northman, and trying not to be the closed minded tyrant she was her sophomore year of high school. she was angry that rebekah lied to her at first, but is now glad that she trusts her enough to tell her this secret, this thing she's hiding from most of the prison.

quinn doesn't know about stefan and his brother yet, about caroline or the other vampires of mystic falls here. ]

[He raises his eyebrows; his taste for bourbon had come from years of drinking, but he did what she asked, finishing off his glass and then lifting a peace sign to the bartender, signifying that he should bring two more over.]

Dealing with the bots has been easier with this.

Everything's easier with it. [ a beat. ] Except singing. My junior year, we tried to do a performance of - ironically - Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" at an n assembly after the entire show choir had been partying the night before. Needless to say, there was a lot of hurling on stage in front of the entire school. [ she laughs. ] It was a horrifying. I've never been so humiliated in my life.

Publicly, anyway.

Well, then I wouldn't suggest trying to get through a concert after having a few of these.

[ she holds hers up as well, grinning brightly as if she's honestly enjoying his company - and in her mind, she is. maybe she would genuinely enjoy it without klaus's compulsion, but as it is, getting close to the salvatores and keeping an eye on things is part of what she was instructed to do, and she has no idea that she's following subconscious commands implanted in her head by her best friend's devious older brother. ]

To not hurling our guts. [ and to her testament, she's able to get a good portion of it down before she has to stop with a grimace and a cough. ] That's... That's strong.

[ quinn laughs, wagging a finger at him. ] Times I was drunk include memorable moments such as the vomiting on stage, willingly sitting through all of that cross dressing Adam Sandler movie where he played his own twin sister, and taking "trust me" as a reliable form of birth control. [ not that she was really drunk during that last one, she just led finn, puck himself, and everyone else to believe that for the longest time, because it was easier than admitting she'd really had a thing for puck and had actually wanted to have sex with him. ]

Tell you what. I'll meet you halfway. How's tipsy sound?
