[ today is one of those days where having a vision of where the bots are hiding would be incredibly helpful. it seems like cordelia's lacking in the luck department. even though there are bots about, there's no way in hell a little bit f mechanical mistletoe's going to stop cordelia chase from her shopping exploits. hanging around bull's eye in sector three, whether inside the store or loitering outside, is where she can be found attempting to avoid the bots; her last kiss back home was, essentially, the kiss of death. she's still not feeling very up to kissing. ]

[Derek is out walking around, not really sticking to his own sector because these bots are everywhere and he doesn't trust them not to cause trouble. He spots the girl loitering outside and moves over to her.]

You know it's probably safer inside. The bots today aren't the normal ones we're used to. [He's been through this curse twice now. It still isn't fun to him. If course he doesn't find being forced into anything fun.]

[Suddenly there's that light hum of a bot and a demanding 'kiss' 'kiss'. Derek rolls his eyes and looks up at the bot above them.] Seriously? [And he can feel that invisible barrier at his back, pushing him toward Cordelia.] Kiss. They make you kiss.

Oh, wow - these guys don't really play by the usual dating rules. [ cordelia frowns. she feels the barrier pushing against her, too. she doesn't particularly like it, how she can't push back without feeling like she's trapped in an invisible box. she glances back towards derek; he has a better resume with her when it comes to dealing with this. ] And these little invisible bubbles don't pop unless we do as they say?

[Buffy has decided indoors is the best option to hide fromt he bots. She's even resorting to crouching and peering out from clothing racks to try and shake the one following her. That is how she runs right into Cordy. She starts apologizing before she sees who it is.]

These bots really need to learn some boundaries. [ cordelia, by being herself, attempts to move, but finds herself trapped in a little bubble with the one person that she kind of doesn't want to be trapped with. no offense, buffy, but your lack of wanting to wear thongs so doesn't make cordelia want to be stuck with you forever. ]
