The Noah of Pleasure is definitely the last person Reid wants to see right now but of course his streak with bumping into said Noah of Pleasure continues. Coffee runs and turning corners and hello. Deer in the headlights here, which isn't getting much better by the fact that his attempt at backing away all quick-like only results in a second bump-in. Invisible wall. Hello again. ]

[Tyki's having a good day. Good week, even. Maybe even longer than that. And by good, we're judging on a sliding scale of "potentially human interaction" to "psychopathic murderous glee over murderous things" and he's been sitting quite neatly at one end of the spectrum. But of course, events such as today tempt a little movement and tempt a little o' that murderous impulse. But only for the deserving, of course. Push a button, get a response.

Look like good prey, get preyed on...

He's trying not to find the whole shocked and pale look enticing, to be swayed by the subtle pleasure that;ll come with putting a little more terror behind those eyes. "Kitty'll be pissed" only goes so far in the end, but he's trying. Teeth gritted, smirk still escaping, he stays on his side of the barrier dome and leans against it.

[ He squints at the smoke drifting his way, breath hopelessly caught in something quick and rapid. Awkward he can handle. Uncomfortable is manageable. But this? This is so off the charts that he's genuinely contemplating whether it'd be better to just wait and let the invisible force field to its job. ]

Mm, seems now you'll have to take more than that. [God, do you know how fun this is?

He neatly pushes off from the barrier behind him, skimming splayed fingers along it before stepping forward. He goes to drop his cigarette to the ground and then rethinks it, keeping it between two fingers as tendrils of smoke fill their little bubble of personal space. He stands before Reid now, planting one hand somewhere high over his shoulder for a good lean.] Don't tell me you're scared.

[ Sure, why not make one of the smells he thinks of as something safe and comforting and make it twisted. Go ahead. Watch how much he doesn't care even though his heart is pounding adrenaline so hard that it'd take a miracle for Tyki to not pick up on it.

Still he forces himself to meet that look with sheer defiance. Tyki's not the only dangerous person he's ever been eye to eye with and he won't be the last. Lately Reid has started to wonder if they give him too much credit. He's no Foyet. ]

And what about what I can do? [You make it a challenge, saying it like that. Will you be afraid of all the wicked deeds he can do, while the two of them are trappe so intimately together? Are you afraid, at all, of the cigarette between his fingers that he raises level to Reid's face. Ashes flick onto the profiler's clothes.]

Take this cigarette for instance. You're not scared at all that I might press it to an eye of yours? [He shifts the burning end closer with the threat.]

Tyki just breathes a laugh, shaking his head slightly from side to side. His eyes, amber and almost glowing, focus on every little shift of Reid's face and soak in every little abnormal breath. His laughter rumbles louder and he presses the cigarette flush.

Or, it would be flush and burning to Reid's eye were Tyki not phasing it.]
