[The Blood Shack has been redecorated for the evening. The lighting is red and the decor is very Moulin Rouge. The bar has had a facelift of sorts and in the spirit of a costume party is featuring 'candy' flavored shots such as Skittles, Sweet tarts, Caramel Apples, Nerds and Tootsie Rolls. All other 'normal' drinks are available at the bar as well as a selection of synthetic blood. The decor continues in the seating arrangements. The entire room, including the dance floor, stage and platform where Eric's throne sits is bathed in red light. Lording over the entire affair is Eric, dressed as a Viking king. Instead of the helm, he's got a crown made of gold foil and cardboard. His weapons are the plastic sort and he's opted to go bare chested rather than attempting to make any sort of chain mail. He has a faux polar bear throw across his shoulders and is wearing a long, blond wig as well as a fake beard.

Enjoy, mingle and come as you want to be.]

[Because of vamp speed and an ability to see in the dark as well as he sees in the light, it doesn't take him long to get a few candles spread about and lit. The lighting isn't great but it's something and now it seems to fit the mood of the place and the evening. Once the candles are lit he returns to where he placed Sookie on the bar out of the way of any trampling feet and lands up against the bar.]

Well, I didn't plan it, but I can't say I dislike it.

[ a girl like her, who runs happily through fields full of sticker plants, would've just hopped down and walked out the door without need to be carried, but she heard a few glasses shatter when the lights went out. stickers are a lot easier to dig out of your feet than slivers of glass are. ]

[ though sookie wanted to take the classy road of hunkering down innocently while awaiting the power to come back online, there was no denying that she was anxious to put these bands to good use. they always had to stop, refrain, pull away and cool off before alerting the bots again, and these band would ensure that they could stop holding back and just let themselves go and do what they've wanted for the past two weeks.

once they were inside the apartment with the door shut and locked behind them, she slipped out of his arms long enough to pull off her ring (and those wire elfin ears; they were starting to hurt). then it was back into his arms, fingers grasping at the back of his neck as she raised up on her toes, intending on pulling him down to meet her halfway for a kiss. ]

He still didn't break the skin on her neck simply because they'd discussed that and it was something Bill had done to her. Eric is fairly determined in his decision not to bite Sookie unless she requests it, but if she thought manipulating the bond while biting her was amazing without the sex, her mind would be officially blown when it was paired with sex.

At some point he moves his arm, letting her dress fall to the floor as he pushes her back toward the bed. He moves his mouth back to hers while he makes fairly short work of the clothes he has on. He won't ever be able to wear the viking costume again, but that's of little concern to him at the moment.

It certainly says something about her and Bill's sex life when she's conditioned to expect fangs and is, for the briefest of moments, confused by the lack of feeling fangs pressing into her flesh. But it's by no means anything she's going to complain about, especially not while lying naked under him with her back pressed into the sheets. Finally. No more holding back, no more cold showers and having to leave the room before she gives into temptation - they can just do it. Whenever they want, without consequences.

When she throws her head back in the middle of their lovemaking to give him better access to her neck and collarbone, she expects to be staring at the stark white of the ceiling and dull tones of the wall behind her - not the ghost of a vampire she saw go up in flames.

She stills her hips beneath him, hands gripping his arms in a way that's not because he's pushing her to the edge. "Eric. Godric."
