After the first one had gone so well, Allison was pretty excited to attempt a second month of the Food Club. (Which really did need a proper name) And the fact that they were getting their own ice fortress built by Elsa, Queen of Arendelle? Icing on the cake, really. The really good cake that someone had brought.

She'd borrowed some tables from the theater to set up and covered them with cheap plastic table cloths because that seemed easy enough, really. There was plenty of room for everyone to place their dishes and Allison couldn't wait to try a little of everything.

Lucas was always down for free food. It wasn't totally free, since the price of admission was just to bring some food of his own. His family's cornbread recipe was a great almost fall sort of dish, so that was what he'd decided to bring as his entrance fee of a sort.He'd told Riley and his Dad that they should stop by, but he also knew their idea of a good time wasn't watching him eat tons, so he was more than content to meet other, like minded people.

He'd grabbed himself a slice of cornbread and a plate heaped full of food that everyone else had brought and then grabbed a seat, glad he'd brought his jacket so that he wasn't too cold in the ice fortress. Which, he definitely took a moment to appreciate the utter awesomeness that was sitting in an ice fortress eating all sorts of food. This was so cool.

Anna had come off a shift at work and dropped by with lasagna that she'd made while at work. Sigrùn was nice enough to let her borrow the ovens. She set out down, and looked around before spotting a friend.

"Lucas, I hope everything is going great with you?" She asked as she approached, a plate in her own hands, she was happy to see him, she'd been so busy at work she'd neglected their friendship and she felt bad.

Lucas looked up with a warm smile when he heard Anna's familiar voice. He'd been spending a lot more time with Riley and on his new courses lately, so he hadn't had time to see her as much as he'd have liked.

"Hey! Yea, things are going really great! I just started classes and they're keeping us busy, but it's a lot different from high school. I like it!" He gestured for her to take a seat next to him. "How are you? Things going better lately? I know we haven't had time for a jam session in a while, but I think things are finally settling down a bit more if you want to pick them back up again!"

Anna was pleased to hear things were going well. She had a very small circle of friends, and she wanted the best for all of them. Lucas was too good if a person to not have good things going.

"I'm glad to hear this, are you taking anything fun?" She asked as she sat down next to him, setting her plate down carefully. "I'm well. Working a lot but it helps." She paused then smiled brightly, if anything she was excited at the idea of playing together again. "I would certainly love that. I might have found some good pieces for us to work on, too, I think you'd enjoy them."

"They're mostly just gen ed requirements, so nothing too fancy or anything. It's been pretty okay so far!" Lucas hadn't tested out of any classes, even though he probably could have, because he wanted to be able to really get the most out of his college experience. Skipping things would only get him to finish faster and that wouldn't be any fun, especially when he didn't need to actually race towards working full time anytime soon.

"Oh really! Okay, cool! Maybe next weekend? If you aren't doing Speed Dating, I mean. Which, if you aren't, you should! Meeting new people is always good. I signed my dad up so that he'd make some more friends," Lucas explained, obviously thinking he was pretty smart for signing his dad up.

"Well, they can still be interesting." she said carefully before smiling, "I am excited for you though. I want to know how things go overall, yeah?" she was grateful she knew him and wanted him to succeed.

"Next weekend would be good. I am doing speed dating, but that's Friday, so maybe Saturday?" she asked, "And it is, I need to meet more people." she smiled at him, "Oh did you now?"

"I will! Promise. I don't know if they'll all be exciting or interesting or anything, but hopefully I'll find something. I mean, that's the whole point of college right? You get to pick and choose?" Lucas liked that, because it meant they could all go at their own pace instead of having to follow along with everyone else. That just wasn't how people worked in reality.

"Saturday works! I'm going to be at speed dating, but just to watch. Since Dad needs to get there somehow!" He definitely hadn't told his dad yet, probably wouldn't until they were already on their way. Knowing his dad, he wouldn't try to pull out so close to starting on Mrs Darcy.

She smiled a bit, laughing, "yes, it is like that and that's half the fun of college, I think. You can experiment and see what you really like and what you don't. I'm sure you'll find the perfect fit." she hoped anyway. She liked Lucas and wanted him to succeed.

"Perfect, I look forward to it." she was pretty sure his dad was gonna flip a little, but that was okay. "I'm sure it'll be a good event."

"There's lots of different options here, which is great but it's a lot different than at home, you know?" Which he honestly didn't mind, but he was kind of glad that he was doing this here first. Even if he wouldn't remember it, hopefully it would make going to college that much less scary back at home.

"Okay, plan. And you can tell me all about your dates!" Lucas was happy for Anna, since she definitely could use more friends and just getting out to meet people and stuff.

	Anna nodded, "I do know." she agreed as she ran a hand over her hair and smiled at him. "I will, I look forward to it." she was happy to have a good friend in Lucas. "I'll let you get back to socializing, but I'll see you soon." she smiled as she collected her things, getting up and waving before heading out. She was in a good mood.
