The fair has come to town! To those of you who have attended a rural county fair, this is pretty much your standard fare. To those of you who haven't, there will be rides, food, games where you can win huge stuffed animal prizes, and also...4 H stuff. Like...cow shows and rabbit shows and horses and talent shows and quilt competitions and...really, name it and it's probably there.

"I think a petting zoo would be fun," she told Tom, "then again, it's a bit odd not seeing any livestock around here. Especially when you see them all the time at Downton."

"Petting zoo it is then," said Tom while checking the map of the fairgrounds. "Isn't it? There are some horses and other livestock out towards the edges of town, but it's strange not seeing sheep every day when you're so used to it back home."
