The fair has come to town! To those of you who have attended a rural county fair, this is pretty much your standard fare. To those of you who haven't, there will be rides, food, games where you can win huge stuffed animal prizes, and also...4 H stuff. Like...cow shows and rabbit shows and horses and talent shows and quilt competitions and...really, name it and it's probably there.

	Johnny was actually not unused to judgmental looks from mothers. Usually because he was macking on girls in public places, but, you know, same difference. "You're so whipped," he laughed. As much as he complained Nick didn't mind giving in to Cassie. She deserved it, and she shouldn't have to go as long as he did without some kind of stability.

Being twitched by Johnny about not getting any made Nick huff, but his heart wasn't as much in his smile. This place reminded him of being at Coney Island with Kira that one time. God, he missed her.

"Yeah well," he attempted brevity. "I'll live. Where is she anyway and why haven't you won her some tacky stuffed animal?"

Nick should probably know by now that Johnny was just going to roll with it, and that he was now stuck holding hands. For a few moments anyway.

"You're funny." And apparently forgetting that he was friends with an actual superhero. Who could definitely handle winning his girlfriend some dorky prize all on his own. "I'm thinking a little of both. Izzy's going to roll her eyes at me no matter what it is so I might as well earn it."

No way in hell was Johnny Storm going to be seen skipping, but he would be seen with a goofy and fun facetwin doing it. If anyone asked, Nick was the mentally challenged twin.

"Well, you know, Lamesville county fair. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't." He wound up picking a game with beanbags and pink elephants as prizes, Izzy would definitely love that, and love obviously meant hate. "That."

The kind of guy with complete confidence in himself, Johnny just assumed it going where it needed to go was his own doing, and gave his friend a look that said yeah right, as if he wasn't going to win, he always won.

He threw the next few beanbags, also without help obviously, since there'd been no help, and very triumphantly accepted the horrendous toy and waved it at Nick's face.
