What: Alice has News for Frank! Frank is an emotional midget!

( Alice was absolutely positive that she was going to get yelled at by Frank. )

Who: Minister Cadwallader, the Ministry folks, anyone who bought a ticket, the ridiculous amount of security.

Where: The Ministerial Manor
What: A ball! Where nothing bad happened! At all!

After a long and trying year, the annual Ministry of Magic Fundraiser Christmas Charity Ball...thing... is undoubtedly the biggest event of the winter season. There's food, music, dancing, formalwear, lost of alcohol and more Christmas cheer than a country in such dire straights has any right to have.

Cads himself will be getting a bit tipsy, with his personal bodyguards on hand to ensure that nothing bad should happen, and will personally tell each and every individual Ministry employee how much he appreciates their hard work and dedication to their job. Depending on the time of night/how drunk he is/how friendly they are, they might even get a hug. All Ministry employees will also receive various gifts from the Ministry, usually something small and kitschy, like a mug that says "I <3 my M.o.M." or similar.



NB: Mistletoe was banned after the Holly Incident of 1937 (seven Wizengamot Witches and Wizards were fired after harassment suits, mostly from one another. Much damage control was done by all).

Who: Alecto Carrow and Kingsley Shacklebolt.
What: Kingsley interrogates Alecto.
When: December 15, 1979.
Where: Wherever Alecto is being held captive.
Warnings: Possible violence, definitely lots of cursing. Questionable morality.

Who: Bellatrix Black and Rodolphus Lestrange
When: Late night, December 6th, 1979
Where: Starting off in an alley during Moody's rounds, then Bellatrix's abode
What: Bellatrix and Rodolphus make good on their assignment to take down Alastor Moody, but the constantly vigilant fellow manages to land in a pretty bad hit and make it out alive. Bellatrix takes Rodolphus to safety and helps him heal. D'aww.

( Without blinking or hesitating, Rodolphus darted between her and the hex )

Who: Bellatrix Black, Lily Potter, and Florean Fortescue
When: Afternoon, December 6th, 1979
Where: Diagon Alley
What: Vigilantes have made threats against Bella's sister; she is not pleased. Lily gets to be an object lesson.

( Mrs. Potter. Just the person I was hoping to run into. )

Who: Genevieve Kensington and Rodolphus Lestrange
When: Afternoon, December 2nd, 1979
Where: The File Room of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries
What: Ministry seizure of files. Shit's getting real.

( Gen hated filing, but it was a necessary part of her job )

Where: Geoffrey and Gideon's Flat
What: An interview, a series of lies, an ultimatum, and a step forward.

( Dearborn’s deadline was fast approaching, and nothing had changed. He was running out of time. )

EXECUTIVE ORDER 3124

Henceforth, all records belonging to the Spell Damage ward of St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries relating to individuals suspected of extralegal terrorist activity OR dated around the occurrence of known terrorist attacks will be subject to search and seizure by the Hitwizard and Auror departments of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.
