I don't care what you think as long as it's about me
Who: Savvy and Quentin
Where: The local art supply store
When: Afternoon
Quentin had two favorite places in this world: sitting on the beach watching the tide came in, and going to the art supply store. Not one of those mass market craft stores like AC Moore or Michael's, though they'd certainly do in a pinch, but one that catered just all types of artists and their needs. Since he was too far away from the ocean he'd grown up with - something he'd never thought he'd miss until he actually made the move to Michigan - this was going to have to do.
To be fair, it wasn't like he was stopping in just to kill time. Having a studio space was great, but it was still his responsibility to keep it stocked, and he was out of some key colors of paint and grabbing a few canvases while he was at it wouldn't be a bad idea. That, and he was hoping to see something here that might strike his fancy. He was itching to start a new piece soon anyway, hopefully one that didn't have any other implications to go with it. No visions for him today, please and thank you, the last one had been bad enough.
He wandered through the aisles, finally ending up in the brush section. He didn't really need new ones, but one never knew. There was a redhead here too looking around, digging through one of the boxes on the floor, and he gave her a quick little smile. "Right behind you," he said, more as a courtesy than anything else, as he stepped around her to reach one of the brushes above her head.
