Oh god, Savvy couldn't even imagine sitting down to dinner with her family, Arcadia and Agostino alike. What a mess that would be. There might be explosions, very literal and dangerous explosions. That much magic and tension in one place couldn't be good for anyone's health. Nope, Savvy just ate by herself most nights instead, microwave meals in front of the TV or takeout while she hunched over her laptop or a sketchbook. She wasn't complaining either, she had actually come to kind of love it. Sure it wasn't ideal and it might be nice to actually have home cooked meals from time to time but she had made a little life for herself and she had to enjoy it. Some days were harder than others, she'd missed a fair few of those solo dinners because the thought of eating alone just depressed her too much but today was a good day.
Savvy had gone through periods like that but now that she was self-employed and ran a website she had tried to come up with some kind of system, even if it did mean remembering which book was for what and sometimes getting them muddled. With a bright smile she agreed with Quentin's assessment of hybrid styles of art, nodding to show those were her thoughts exactly. When he mentioned being interested in the site itself she felt her eyes bug a little but what had she expected? She was the one who had mentioned it in the first place. "Oh, right, sure," she said and with that she was digging in the bottom of her bag for a scrap of paper -- there were always a few floating around in the bottom there, they just seemed to materialise out of thin air -- so she could scribble it down for him, listening while he spoke as she did so. It didn't take her long to write down the address and in a clear enough way that he would be able to read it later. She didn't thrust it at him right away though, instead said, "I've always had a kind of love-hate relationship with paints. Dark fantasy though? I love it." And colours and textures? He was speaking Savvy's language. "Do you, um." She paused, smiling and shrugging a little. "Do you have anything I could look at?" Because he drew dragons and what wasn't to love about that?
