The Mustang was almost enough to make Savvy wish she could drive. Almost. Growing up she had envied kids whose parents had driven cars like that and on some level she supposed she still envied people who could afford them. How much money did Quentin even have? She could pick up little snatches about his parents but the feeling that came with them was anything but positive, there was a definite negative vibe that made her steer clear of those thoughts and digging any deeper into them. Ignorance really was bliss sometimes, and she knew enough about rich people to assume that there had been some unwelcome pressure in his life from his parents. That was all she needed to know. For some reason, though, all that just made him like him that little bit more, as if she had something else in common with him now even though she knew that was ridiculous. Unless she was seriously misinterpreting the signs Quentin wasn't the bastard child of some multi-billionaire -- or whatever her father was -- witch who wanted nothing to do with him. That particular mess was all hers.
The fact that Quentin took the paper and didn't scrunch it up but instead put it into his back pocket made Savvy feel a little sheepish for some reason. There was a very real chance he was going to be looking at her stuff later and for some reason that made her feel a little anxious. Oh well, too late now, and besides, how could she be an artist like she wanted if she kept pulling back from letting people see things? Her gaze was directed to his arm on cue and her face lit up again and she diverted her attention to the tattoo, taking it from the sketchbook for the time being. "Okay, you're going to need to stop being so awesome because I am a very impressionable young woman. You don't know what you're getting yourself into here." It was said jokingly and with a bright and good-natured smile on her face but she realised after the fact just how it might come across. Oops. A little creepy there, Savvy.
