action || open to anyone

[If you've gone to school today, either as a student, teacher or visitor, it's likely you've run into David, who's requested a little help. The idea is simple: keep Snow occupied for a while, so she won't come out of the building or look outside until he's finished with a few things.]

[By midday, it'll be clear what it was. The tables outside of the school have all been set as if for a fancy kind of picnic, with pretty tableclothes and all sorts of flowers picked from the forest and gardens. And, yes, food, in the form of a large picnic basket and other bags with snacks and other things for anyone who'd like to join in.]

[As to why, well, Snow was almost all on her own and upset for far too long, and it's about time she gets pampered a little.]

[[Tiny mingle! David will be HERE but feel free to thread among yourselves and abuse the post as needed o/]]

action | Sherlock scavenger hunt

[The residents of Kiseki might have noticed Sherlock milling about the last few mornings, early before most people are up, carrying around various bags and equipment. Or perhaps not. This is Sherlock, and he's nothing short of eccentric. If anyone was curious about what exactly he's been up to, the answer comes in the form of a letter sent out to all of the students and faculty, informing them of a "Super Sleuth Scavenger Hunt" set for Saturday morning. The letter also explains that the hunt is free to the public, if students or teachers wish to invite some friends, and can be used as extra credit for those who attend his class.]

[In each letter is a check list of the following items: A small brown chest full of gold coins hidden in woods, an old fashioned jack-in-the-box sitting on a swing in the playgrounds, a porcelain doll with in a pink gown and curly red hair hidden in the library, some glass marbles in a jar by the elephant exhibit in the zoo, a large rubber ducky floating in the swimming pool, and a gold ring that is a replica of the one seen in the Lord of the Rings films on a chain hanging from one of the branches of the infamous Sakura Tree. All of these are simple enough to find, yes?]

[Of course, this is Sherlock. Nothing is ever so simple, as some will probably guess. And in each place around where an item has been hidden, there are some carefully laid traps set to spring. One may, for example, rush to retrieve the chest of coins, step over a harmless pile of leaves, and suddenly be caught up in a net. Or perhaps before they discover the large rubber ducky, they will open the wrong door and be greeted by a bucket of ice water pouring over their heads. Water balloons, boxes that contain the wrong items, doors that lock behind people (anyone that paid attention to his lesson on lock picking should know how to escape). Perfectly harmless, but certainly a nuisance.]

[Sherlock, naturally, doesn't disclose the location of the items or his booby traps. However, he does offer a friendly reminder to avoid the more dangerous parts of Kiseki and the Winged Island. The letter ends with this: A good detective is always resourceful and resilient, no matter how benign the case may be. Best of luck to you all, and hope to see you bright and early come Saturday morning.]

[[OOC: This is an open mingle for everyone! And if anyone has ideas for other silly traps their characters can run across, feel free to include those! So long as they don't harm anyone, it's fair game ^^]]

005 ❄ Video/Action | open to all

[The video starts out with the above image, of a few jack-o-lanterns set up on Snow's teachers desk, and a moment later there's a small, almost self-conscious laugh as she holds up the journal to get a better view.]

I thought it'd be a nice thing for everyone to do today. [Arts and crafts is getting hands-on today, kids.] If you want to carve a pumpkin, come on down to the playground at the school today. We have picnic tables set up for carving, and you can make pumpkins like these here.

Everyone's welcome to join in... I have lots of pumpkins, and with Halloween so near, it'd be great to get into the spirit of it all.

[Anyone passing by the school today, or having seen the video, is free to join in on the pumpkin-carving. Snow's got a big collection of pumpkins of all shapes and sizes, and will be handling the actual knives part for the younger kids -- and strictly supervising the older ones (and, lbr, the adults too)

And she's set up some other Halloween activities, such as making ghosts, and of course there are some some treats and goodies for anyone who doesn't want to put in too much effort]

[ooc: this is open for basic mingling, too, should you so desire!]

004 ⚜ Video/Action | Open to Everyone

[Anyone going to school today will notice that their classmate is looking very dashing~*~

He's dressed up, all fancy and composed, aka: he didn't dress himself. Today the shirt is frillier than usual, passing by him he smells like some kind of flowery perfume or something of the sort, and he's wearing a fancy red bandana instead of his usual black one - when he's not wearing his hat, which he would be should you run into him doing his homework outside in the schoolyard, as he usually does during lunch break.]

[So he's looking very fancy and sparkly and ~*~ but is also a little :T at times, and although not blushing, does seem vaguely embarrassed - whether in the classroom and knowing that Aramis is hanging around outside POSITIVE that he's going to get positive feedback. Or when he's out having lunch with him. Especially since Aramis is beaming with pride and looking entirely too pleased with himself.]

[Beyond just Porthos shenanigans, though, the school's been a little odd today. The most telling thing being that arts & crafts is now being taught by the strange video screen, now that Snow White's gone home. And her puppy for a husband is standing at the window, staring off sadly as it rains on only him.

Maybe today's the day you finally decide to join the school? There's always a need for students - and now there's clearly a need for teachers, as well, since so many of the classes are taught from the video screens rather than an actual person.

Or, maybe you're just enjoying the nice day - it's sunny and more springlike by the day, and maybe you and your classmates are feeling a little bored with the video-talkers.]

Action || Open to everyone

[It's another day at the school! You could be snoring in the seat way back in the classroom, or frantically taking notes, or meeting up with friends during recess, or getting lunch, or being greeted by friends or family once the day ends.

Maybe you've never been to the school and just felt like checking it out, maybe sign up for a class or get a job in it, or simply be creeped out by the monitor teachers...

Either way, there's plenty to do so go ahead and mingle]

[ open to everyone ]

[Hello, Kiseki residents! Have you had enough with the constant changing already? Were you done with this world before it all even began? Well, Kiseki doesn't care.

This time, it's even the usual setting that seems different. The trains are now announcing each island as they stop on them. The shopping district now has a giant bunny fountain in it.

And more importantly, the school has been altered entirely. No longer the small, humble building it once was, it now offers a much larger variety of lessons (the usual - maths, science, history from various worlds, and so on), taught by creepy voices in monitors. Students will now have uniforms, and share lessons regardless of age...

And even if your character doesn't want to attend it, they might not have much of a choice. Some of them will be randomly sorted into attending classes (fully or part-time), or even into teaching a class.

Whichever it is, feel free to explore the revamped areas, complain loudly, and mingle as usual. ... And maybe notice that there're small baskets with toasts available at various places all over the islands, each with a little note on them saying "You're late".]
