Project Noir, an initiative of the international cult Esset, is working diligently to create a team of superpowered humans and to use their powers to gain control over the world. From obscure books of Tibetan lore to the dark secrets of the Mayan calendar, Esset will use every opportunity to succeed.

Project Noir is an original character action role-playing game, set in the world of Weiss Kreuz and inspired by the events in the anime and manga series, with a dash of the new Velvet Underworld added for good measure. Knowledge of canon is not necessary for the game.

It has been three months since the incident at Alkali Lake. Life, is moving on. Xavier's School for the Gifted has been repaired and security enhanced. Cerebro is working again and new students are arriving. A new Junior team of students is under training for X Men status. A team is being put together called the Avengers. A group working with the government to protect other mutants and meta humans as well as protect society from those that wish them harm. Working with them is the Fantastic Four. Stryker has survived and working with what is left of Weapon X, and a few new scientists, has begun work on the Sentinel Program. The Brotherhood is rebuilding and taking the silence of the government and the new team of Avengers as a sign that the fight, is far from over. Marvelous Heroes is a mature, literate writing group that role plays out plots in the Marvel universe. We are a mix of comic and movie verse and do not consider X3: Last Stand, or Origins to be canon. Adapting other Marvel characters to the universe as we go, we are always looking for writers that want to stretch their literary muscle by inspiring and being inspired by others writing and character development. |

“Karma is a bit of a bitch, if one thinks about it. Not much you can do about it, and now that you’ve died, you belong to me. My job is to get you back in balance.” Of course, the Director never mentions if you are working off good karma or bad karma. The Cooperative is a game where characters are part of a inter dimensional mercenary group, under the control of The Director. The Director controls everything about the world they find themselves in, and there are training missions given out every month where all the characters are expected to participate. Not only that, but the characters will be given a team of other people to work with, and sent out on missions all over the multi-verse. The players then have free reign to decide how they deal with the mission, and the results of that. Ready to play and see what worlds you’ll see and what jobs you’ll have? Join in and enjoy. We welcome canon, AU, or orphans from other games. |
