Wished RP is an AU game that diverges from canon midway through Half-Blood Prince and aims to honor canon while allowing players to craft their own end to the story we all spent years following. Wished is a thread and scene based, Trio-Era game that begins with the Trio's seventh year. Voldemort is still lurking, if weakened, and a final showdown still threatens - but how we get there, and what happens afterward, will look very different.

Wished is an open and established game, and is an active and friendly community with chances for plot and character development for all characters.

Welcome to Nearside, Pennsylvania!

Nearside is a city on the verge of mainstream development, located in Central Pennsylvania next to the Carlton Mountain. Built by a collective community of artists, Nearside is a unique city of locally owned businesses, farmer's markets, and a thriving force of creativity. Solaris Rd. is the most popular section of the city, offering everything from a popular coffee house (a place for local bands, speed dating, karaoke nights, and much more) to a costume shop and a yoga studio to a daycare for Nearside's youngest residents, the city has countless amenities.

Several years ago a university was built and with it, there has been a rapid growth of corporate business and mainstream entertainment but the residents still focus on keeping Nearside's close-knit, small town charm.

*Mod Note: Nearside is a social game, focused on character development and looking for serious writers. You won't find zombies, murders, big-name celebrities, vampires, or people waving around magical wands. Nearside is a game where talented writers have a chance to simply play out various storylines in a relaxed atmosphere. Demons are attacking in Wizarding Britain. The Dark Mark soars high in both Salem and San Francisco. Despite this, both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again and offering exchange programs to older students. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause. What would you do if you lost your magic?


A virus is sweeping its way through the corridors at Hogwarts. A virus that inhibits the use of even the most basic magic. The Ministry have declared a state of emergency and placed a magical quarantine around the school, trapping the disease, and everyone inside.

But it's not just students confined to the Hogwarts grounds.

One by one people find themselves losing their ability to perform even the simplest of spells. But even as they struggle to try and discover a cure, darker forces are beginning to close in on the school.

Death Eaters stalk the forest, cabin fever is beginning to spread like wild fire, students dreams are linked and most unpredictably, Cedric Diggory's ghost has returned!
And according to him, more are coming...





Plagued RPG is a Post-war Hogwarts-based Harry Potter RPG set in the year 1998. We're a very open, friendly, plot driven game with added twists and surprises to make sure there's never a dull moment in writing. We value character interaction and development and encourage characters to interact through journals, open threads and the experimental 'Grab Me' Policy!
