My apologies, but Maurice and I will be leaving Nearside for good. Given the community rules, I should probably already have been ejected for my inactivity--something I apologize to all of you (and one of you in particular, you probably know who you are!) for.

Since I feel like it would be trite of me to do so, I won't provide reasons or excuses. But, thank you all for all the fun times! I'm sorry I couldn't stick around to watch the community develop, and I hope its activity strengthens while I'm gone.

Thanks again, and farewell! Perhaps I'll try another comm when I feel I'm ready for it, and maybe I'll see one of you all again.

Hey guys, it's Amanda. Just want to let you know that Lucas and I are leaving Nearside. With all the stuff going on in my life right now, I can't give this vibrant community the love and attention it deserves. Maybe when school is over for the year I will come back but Lucas is moving back to Halida for good. He really doesn't do well away from home, as much as he tries to convince himself otherwise. 
Everyone here was so great and I just want to thank you for making what little time I was here so enjoyable. I'm still going to be doing PSLs with Lucas and a bunch of other characters so feel to hit me up if you want to do a line or just want to chat. I will miss you all and I hope you stay in touch.

BUT IT'S TRUE. Leslie Hurst says hi, and asks y'all to treat him kind because he is a soft big ol' teddy bear and he just wants some love. He's a dreamy country boy who, sorry to say, doesn't really want to be here, but stays 'cause his folks want him to go to college. All Leslie wants to do is work on the family peach and strawberry farm back home in Ohio 'til he's an old old man, but he doesn't want to let his Ma and daddy Bobby down. He works at Red Stripe Grocery as a stocker, but otherwise doesn't talk to too many people.

So...help him be happy in Nearside, everybody. And give him a hand with figuring out what the hell he should do with his life. And with what to take at Nearside University.

Hey guys! I know I haven't been around much in the past week but by Monday or Tuesday, that shall change. I got an apartment!!!!! I'm ridiculously excited and I just signed the lease today. Soooo...for the next few days, I'll be moving my stuff and I don't quite know the internet situation yet, but I know that at the apartment complex they have this office center type thing with computers and internet. Wish me luck!

Hey guys. Just a quick note to let you know I won't be around much this week. My parents are visiting, leaving late Thursday. I'll be around on Friday, and then gone again on Sat. But after that I have my usual plans to do absolutely nothing, so I'll be around as much as ever.

I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to pull out of the game. You're all fabulous people with great characters, but I've just got a lot going on and something has to give somewhere, and i've just never totally found my "niche" in the game. Thanks for all the laughs and I wish you all the best of luck with the game!

Hi! I'm Sally, and this is my kid, Ashley Tucker Snake. But call him Snake. He's 23 years old, and he works in Darwin’s Bar. Resident hippie, snarky to a fault, and all around pleasant guy, really. He's very flirty, and he likes pretty people, both boys and girls.
When he was younger, he was relentlessly harassed because of his skinny body and all around doormat attitude, so you can pity him for that. Haha!

He's been in Pennsylvania for a year, so I guess he's still roughly the new kid, and still needs to get used to living alone. Which isn't so bad, but sometimes it can get a bit lonely.): Which is why he could use some friends! And enemies, maybe. Patrons? Anything really! So take a quick look at his app in his journal and tell me what you think.(:

Also, I might be a bit scarce this week and next due to midterms and such. But I should be on regularly soon after midterms are over.

yo, kids, it's Skippy. Introducing another animal to the zoo, Brian O'Connor-Cox. He's a bit of a gloomy guy with a woeful past, and a master at the fine arts of worrying and party pooping! But a nice dude, despite being a couple of decades too early to the emo trend.

Brian's the new owner of Mama's Diner and Ice Cream Parlor, so be sure to hit it up if you want some awful pie or if you're shiny happy people who can brush off the drizzle from his perma-cloud. And if you're one of the latter without a job, please apply. Goodness knows the place could use some cheer. But if you're not, no worries, come in with a sob story and you'll have him wrapped around your little finger. And ice cream on the house.
