We're on the approach to half term now, so things are quietening down now, and with RP land about to become quieter than usual due to Nano, I figured it would be the right time to start dipping my toes back into the water.

If anyone would mind getting me up to speed with what all the characters are doing, that would be awesome :)

As usual with Lucy's charity events, feel free to be involved e.g we'll need bar staff etc. I can add things to the line-up if you want your characters performing there.

Sorry I've been AWOL for the last month or so but I am back and have an explanation. A little over a month ago I was offered my dream job in my state's capital and had to move and start in two weeks. So those two weeks were spent finding an apartment, canceling and starting services, packing and overall have a major freak out session. Well I moved to my new job (3 hours away) and didn't have internet for two or so weeks bc the company couldn't install it until then. But now we are all good and I'm back and starting to get into somewhat of a routine!

So now that I'm back I'm looking for some plot. With Heather needing some time and space (of which I totally understand and am not by any means attempting to push her at all!) I need something to get Tasha involved while the Leon relationship is on hold. If anyone has any ideas let me know!

Today was Luna's birthday. She didn't have a party, but because she's very much a hobbit in that respect, she sent presents and a slice of cake to all her friends. Yes, Dean, you as well. Feel free to include your character to the list of recipients if you think they would be in there.

Does anybody know when the quidditch season ends? Because google has no idea. I'm planning for Demz to take the next season off, but I just have no idea when that is. Any ideas?

Hey! So, the love potion can start wearing off now if you want. If your characters are yet to post their lovey dovey posts, get them done this weekend, but if you want them to suddenly come to and be all WTF go for that too. We can have an overlap of a few days rather than everyone wearing off at once, depending on how much punch was consumed or how different bodies metabolise the potion.

Okay folks, the party is today. I know I should have done this earlier but there have been a couple pretty big RL things happening.

I'm totally willing to do a big third person party log, but first I want a place for discussion about events at the party.

For instance, Alex is going to be a dick and Demz is going to push him ~linking~ them into the love spell. You can pretty much do whatever you want to get your characters to fall in love. First person they talk to after drinking the punch, first person they touch, first person they make eye contact with, seriously WHATEVER. It's very loosey goosey.

So, who did your character talk to? Did anyone witness your character do something shocking in the name of ~love~? What were they dressed as if they chose to come in costume? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW.

Soooo Max and I have been talking about having a love potion plot (Patricia has given approval). Yes, I know every game has one, but that's because they're fun. There may, therefore, be some spiked punch at the Frobisher Halloween party... and maybe at the St. Mungo's one too, just to cover all bases. So here is an ooc post to plan who is going to fall in love with who. Nominate characters, suggest pairing etc. Do we want just pairings or do we want some unrequited and love triangle situations?

Hey there! Back early from hiatusing because my family are gone and I can at least play at weekends even if work is still a dill-weed. Now, I've been giving a lot of thought to my FF characters (because I suck at hiatus?) so here are my thoughts. Basically, some of my characters are safe but need more plot, and some need more plot and may be dropped if I can't get them more active or mused up.

Endangered:
Wayne, Yakov, Dean, Alex, Lee, Evan, Glenys

So... yesterday was Romilda's birthday, and Jamie and Peter organised a party. Any ideas about what might have happened?

Rita Skeeter is having a busy time, alternating between ruining poor Natasha's character and putting her nose in the investigation of the attacks. Her latest article at the Prophet mentions the letter Dawlish received some time ago threatening with more explosions unless Shacklebolt resigns, but makes no mention of how she learned about said letter and who her source is.

Okay, hi, hi, sorry I've not been playing. RL has been busy and stupid. ANYWAY. Just wanted to let you know that Lucy did arrange the Different Kinds of Love party on Friday, it was a great success (obviously) and raised lots of money for St. Mungo's. If you want to have been there, as a guest, or a musician, or a cook, or whatever, go for it. There was lots of red, including a rather powerful red punch. By the end of the party there were little pockets of people crying and being comforted, because however hard Lucy tries, some people still have their single status on the brain and get a bit upset after a few too many glasses of punch. There were also groups of people having fun, though, and in one room, which had been unwisely labelled as 'the intimate room' and designated for people to be able to sit down and talk quietly, some people are having a bit too much fun, as several friendships move into something more/are irrevocably spoiled/lead to something we will never talk about. Feel free to accidentally stumble on that ;-)

This Saturday there's going to be another explosion, this time during a Quidditch match between the Montrose Magpies (home team) and the Tutshill Tornadoes (visitors). This time we'll have more victims and Healers will have a rather buy day ahead. Feel free to have your character react to it.

Hey everybody. The February plot post will be up later than usual because with all the running around in my rush to get to work I forgot to post it. I'll get to it as soon as I'm home again, but it will still take some 9 or 10 hours.

By the way, I should point out that the plot calendar won't mention the Ministry plot, mostly because I'll be working on it through these regular small posts where we can discuss the plots. Here's what we have going plot-wise for this week:

• As mentioned by Orla here, Cece's tea shop was attacked by angry people blaming those known to have collaborated with Voldemort and the Carrows. There was quite a lot of damage, and some people (including Zoe, who was there at the time) getting cut by the broken glass. Feel free to have your character witness the rock being thrown and/or getting cut.


• On Thursday, Auror Dawlish will receive an anonymous note saying they'll attack again unless Shacklebolt resigns. He'll handle the note to Ernie, knowing the importance to keep this information a secret for now.

If you have any ideas that might help develop either of these, or if you can think of something that might have happened to your character(s), post them here or send me an email!

I'm still a bit snowed under so can't really do much logging BUT as mentioned in the original post about the Ministry bombing, Cece's tea shop is going to get targeted either tomorrow or the day after thanks to the paranoia about who/what is responsible and fears that Death Eaters are on the rise.

Basically it will be a large rock hurtled (by magic) at the main window that will shatter it, sending glass everywhere, and of course the rock is going to impact on something causing more damage.

Just would like to gather any expressions of interest for those who might be in the shop/witness from the street. Also if anyone is keen to be the perpetrator then go for it, otherwise it'll just be some random NPC. ^^

Like Dawn, I extend my apologies for a long absence. I also lost my way with the characters, but let's try again!

I'm shedding Anthony and Ethan, but still have Yue and Cece here.

Yue Sung, Cursebreaker and Chairman of Sung Trading, is still healing after his bad accident in Peru, but the combination of physiotherapy and a lot of loving from Spencer is doing him a lot of good. He was a bit of a grumpy gus when he came back and is now a lot more light-hearted. Although I missed it, he would have definitely attended Su and Declan's wedding and given speeches, and jokes... ^^ He's basically been working on healing up and being cuddly with Spencer. But he needs to get out more - so please, throw him plots and ideas and whatever!



Cece Barbary opened her tea shop and has mostly been concentrating on making it a success as well as being a good Mummy to little Miranda. She is desperately in need of some plottage!

I suppose I should start with apologies for my long, LONG absence. It wasn't an intentional one so much as a combination of life getting away from me a bit and feeling rather aimless as to what my purpose in game was but thanks to the awesome Alison I'm here to dust things off and give it another go.

This time around I reluctantly leave behind Morag and Edwin both felt flat and I honestly had/have no idea where I wanted to take them. I do return with Spencer and Mei both of whom felt a bit more real the last time I made this attempt and both of whom have a bit more interaction to give both myself and the rest of you. :)

So, to reintroduce my remaining two (who should be joined by one or two new characters...and perhaps a different old one before too long):

Firstly is Mei Chang



Mei is still working her butt off as a sous chef and taking cooking classes in her spare time because she's decided she wants to be a real chef. During my absence Mei has continued to be her usually doggedly cheerful self while working a bit too hard and not playing nearly enough. She's also been dealing with growing family tension as her older sister Cho has become increasingly close to her Muggle boyfriend and their family does not approve.

And then there's Spencer Quick



Anyone who's seen Spencer in the last six months has basically seen the blissed-out honeymoon version of him. He's rebuilding things with Yue and couldn't be happier. Don't be surprised if he zones out when he's talking to you, he just has different things on his mind these days. He should be coming back into the world a bit by now and will be taking more of an interest in things that aren't Yue.

Please, give me things. Lots of things.
