Roffe probably went to his dad's and drank hot toddys with the New Wife (of 12 years) and politely excused himself at 9ish to conduct a moonlit search for a bowtruckle he thinks is living in the nearby wood. He puttered around with that idea until almost midnight before finding it, and doing a sketch.

He was still in the wood when the fireworks went off and he hid under his cloak for a bit, but he assures me he would have been more stoic if someone had been watching.

I'm going to say Barney spent it at home with his giant family. In fact, I suspect they have been together pretty much non-stop since Christmas eve, and are going to stay that way until Epiphany. Family is FUN! 13-day giant family party yay!!!

Lucy went to a charity thing. She didn't organise it, and it wasn't very good. She's glad it wasn't because it makes her feel smug that other people can't plan parties like she can, but she isn't allowing herself to feel that because the right thing to feel is sad that it didn't raise more money for charity.

Mel was working at home. At around nine o'clock, her sister bodily dragged Mel from her room and insisted she spend New Year in the living room with the rest of them. They probably played silly games like charades.

Sally went to a nightclub with some girlfriends and kissed a random guy at midnight, then went home with him. She checked his flat was tidy and clean before she allowed herself to be drawn into the bedroom.

Abigail likely went to a party that WADA threw, since she probably didn't have other options that she liked. She would've been amused at a few of the students doing little performances whilst being tipsy.

Also to kick it along a little I feel like saying that one of the staff, the one Abigail mentioned in her first entry, kissed her at midnight. So since then she's kind of been avoiding him, because she doesn't know whether it was 'hey why not?' or something else... and the latter is O__O to her because... dun dun dun... he's a Muggleborn.
