Okay, hi, hi, sorry I've not been playing. RL has been busy and stupid. ANYWAY. Just wanted to let you know that Lucy did arrange the Different Kinds of Love party on Friday, it was a great success (obviously) and raised lots of money for St. Mungo's. If you want to have been there, as a guest, or a musician, or a cook, or whatever, go for it. There was lots of red, including a rather powerful red punch. By the end of the party there were little pockets of people crying and being comforted, because however hard Lucy tries, some people still have their single status on the brain and get a bit upset after a few too many glasses of punch. There were also groups of people having fun, though, and in one room, which had been unwisely labelled as 'the intimate room' and designated for people to be able to sit down and talk quietly, some people are having a bit too much fun, as several friendships move into something more/are irrevocably spoiled/lead to something we will never talk about. Feel free to accidentally stumble on that ;-)

Jamie was there - and wondering why he went. He got hit rather powerfully by the punch but there was no crying, just standing in a corner feeling a bit sorry for himself.

Miles went for a bit of a laugh. He didn't get a girl but had fun. He probably saw two people getting a little bit too intimate and did a huge show of the "OW MY VIRGIN EYES!" sort.

Julie, what do you say to Declan/Su and Cormac/Allegra being there? I think they would have had a nice time.

Leah stayed at home convalescing. Ditto on Hamish at the hospital.

Greg felt there was no point in him going.

Luna was there, dressed in robes that were both sparkly and fluffy. She hugged anyone she met and wished them a happy day, but in a perfectly innocent way.

Tiago and Samir were too far away to attend.

My other kids are all up for grabs if anyone wishes to do anything with them!

Lucy was pretty busy but would have thrown a lot of glances Jamie's way and thought about going over, but Romilda's stink-eye scared her off. She could have gone over for a brief chat when Romilda had to use the bathroom maybe?

Yeah, Romilda was there, being crazy. Peter's shirt got stolen. Obviously. She says it's because all the single ladies there needed a treat to cheer them up.

Alex's sister dragged him there and wouldn't let him out of her sight.

Evan had to work, and spent the evening really depressed, watching sad pathetic old men leer at big-boobed women and contemplating that he would end up like that himself.

Jade didn't go, because thinking about her shortage of friendships is no less depressing than thinking about her lack of romantic relationships.

Yakov spent the whole evening at the buffet.

Lee went and hit on girls. Feel free to count any of yours among them ;-)

Dean wouldn't be there because he was off being romantic with Demz. I've just realised he's the only one of mine to be in a relationship. Wow. Out of 14! I'm going to say Mel had a date that night, because someone should and she's the most likely.

Wayne and Barney were also convalescing. Valentina is elsewhere, probably, and not the party type anyway. Neither is Luke, but he would go with Natasha or Leon if either of them went.

I'll say Glenys was also working, unless anyone wants her there.
