How so? I am the one with six comms, heh :) Some of them grow very slowly, some grow faster. Your asylum sounds like a good idea, because I like HP AU Slash (guess which type of story I am procrastinating on writing right now). I am joining yours :) (I am over 18)

I'm sylvanawood and moderate and boss the asylum snapedom. We're Snape-centric in our posts, but also focus on writing and writer's resources. I wonder if you would like to affiliate?

I think this asylum here is a great idea. I have rarely problems when I post something, but the users sometimes do, and it would be great if I can just point them here as a first place to look for things if they aren't in our faq yet (I have to be a very low-level mod due to little spare time).

Just recently, we've encountered a problem with lj-cuts when an asylum is syndicated (the regularly coded cuts don't work and people who read our feed were spammed with images from one of our fests and the banners I make.) We solved it here.

Generally, I place my affiliates' official button on this comm's profile page and, in addition, add them to the sidebar in the journal itself. I expect a somewhat similar exposure in return :)

The buttons are 100x50, the size of a userpic cut in two. This seems to be a good size to not clutter the profile page.

I am glad that you like my asylum :) It was made in response to how clueless I was back then - joining the LJ and posting public entries without knowing that they will automatically become a part of the feed. Heh!
