WHAT: Dorian has been concerned about Bull's injuries after the darkspawn attack, and it's got him thinking about a lot of things, and he worries quite a bit that he's not good at expressing his feelings for Bull (because he isn't). So he tries, for once.

Hello, all of you - I apologise for any errors I make here. I am not a man of letters, or at least not very many, and this technology is all new to me.

I am Captain John Granby of the British Aerial Corps, and I come here from the year 1810. I wish to thank all of you for being so kind to Iskierka, my dragon, as I know she is possessed of quite a vivacious temperament and can be a bit [...] difficult to manage. She has been most complimentary of all of you whom she has met.

We are to be taking up residence on Bramble Road, in the bit that has already been a bit fire-damaged. To our new neighbors: I assure you that Iskierka will behave herself, and she is not at all the sort of dragon to go burning people's houses down, whatever sort of threats she might make.

(If anyone knows of a way for a dragon to acquire wealth in this world, she is most interested to know of it. Her abilities include flight, yelling, pushing people and dragons around, and breathing fire. Previously she had taken up capturing enemy ships, but I've explained to her that she can't do that here.)

To conclude: thank you for your warm welcome. Iskierka and I shall strive to be worthy of it until such time as we may go home.

All right, this was a very nice diversion from my life, but I'd like to go back now. I thought setting up in the local bar would at least get me in on some of the town gossip, but it's all boring suburban crap. These people are about as deep as a pond in Hell. The only work I've got for idle hands is for my own, these people are just boring.
