Friends - I'm sorry to ask a favor in the wake of such a battle, but I've been scheduled for surgery to put a number of screws in my tibia and fibula today, and there's still a gaping hole in my floor. Is there anyone who might be able to go have a look at the damage and let me know how bad it is? I confess I didn't notice much on the way out, what with the blinding pain and terror for my life. No need to worry for me - Miss Luna is sitting with me at the hospital. I'm mainly concerned about my piano and the box of voltaic bombs in the kitchen.

So there's this theory animals can sense ghosts, yeah? Learned last night that ghosts can sense fucking demon creatures. Not that it ultimately made a difference, but we were at least on alert before they tunneled up through the floor.

We're fine, though, thanks to Aramis and Porthos.
