Well, I'm dreadfully sorry that anything from my corner of the world caused so much damage and heartache. The Blood Starved Beast has been a nuisance in Old Yharnam for years, making travel to the ruins of the old town an utter pain in the neck. I wish the speediest of recoveries to all those that were injured by its aggression, and hope that you won't hold its arrival against Yharnam, which is a lovely town despite its current situation. When the orchestra was alive we used to have wonderful dances in the main square, and before the giant spiders moved into the library it was considered one of the finest collections of occult materials in our sphere! And of course a trip to Yharnam wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Cathedral Ward, which is as known for its architecture as it is for the artfully-arranged caskets which line the mews!

...perhaps I am taking the complaints regarding the Beast personally. Yharnam is very nice! Or at least, it used to be. I was one of the last optimists who hoped to take the city back from the plague. Perhaps it is best if I gave it up and concentrated on what is wonderful about the here and now. Thank you to everyone who rid our fair town of the monster that threatened it! Wonderful fighting!

My dragon is addicted to television.

And to the surprise of no one, it's the dramatic stuff that she likes best. Over the past two days, she's had me and Simon watch an entire season of Vampire High School, which is exactly what it sounds like. Teenage vampires fighting over boys, worrying over their grades, and occasionally getting into massive blood-sucking battles. She alternates between huffing and puffing at how foolish they all are and being entranced with them.

The worst part? I actually care what happens next. They tricked me by having Roger fall in love with Jeff, the werewolf lad, and I've never actually seen two men in love in a play before, and now I have to see how it turns out even though everyone in the show is a supernatural idiot.



OOC: Vampire High School is totally made up as a television show of this world, so if any of you have characters that you want to be fans of a stupid supernatural teen drama, you may feel free to make shit up about it and we'll just roll with it.

I've just been offered the chance to direct the next Fairharbor Community Theatre show!

Granted, it's because no one's done a show in two years and I might have put myself forward as the only candidate, but the point is the Fairharbor Recreation Department picked me. Finally, I'll be able to do something that doesn't involve passing out soap and holy water.
