Oh, blast.

This isn't the ministry, is it?

Well...at least I'm not splinched.

And here I thought I could actually do magic now...

Yes, that would be it. It really isn't that hard, but if you need someone to show you it and you haven't figured it out just hit me up. I can give you a crash course on the thing so you know how to use it. Once you know it you'll find it's rather easy to use.

Nope, I'm not a witch.

Could you?

I'd really appreciate it. You can use these to find other people on the train, right? Like, if I know anyone else on board?

Yeah, like I said it isn't that hard. I didn't have these things exactly in my world, but we had cell phones so just adapted to some of the new technology.

Not a problem just name a time and place shit like that. Yes, you can or if you want a less technology type of way you can walk up and down this long ass train to see the names on the door.

Yeah, uh, we use owls in my world, still. We're kind of...stuck in the past in a lot of ways, I'm afraid.

How about tomorrow morning? I'm knackered; I was actually on my way home from, er, work when I arrived here.

Hey, whatever works in your place. For us it was cell phones and stuff but we were also not wizards and witches.

That works for me! Late in the morning because I'm not a morning person though. Yeah, so probably morning is better so you're well rested for a quick course on the whole thing.

Muggles have it better than we do in a lot of ways, if you ask me. Some of the things they showed us in muggle studies? Wicked smart. And really sweet stuff, too. I'd love to have a CD player. One of those little portable ones? Dean Thomas let me listen to some of his muggle music once, and that stuff's great. Not that we don't have great stuff too, but why stick to one? You're missing out.

Sure. How about ten or so?

You say that because you have never had it. I would enjoy having the whole magic thing. You always want what you don't have or things look better when you haven't had them. I would give you mine because I don't need it, but it's back in my car.

Ten works for me.

Maybe. And you guys don't have Quidditch, which is the best sport ever.

See you tomorrow, then.

What's Quidditch? No, but we have football and hockey.

Looking forward to it.

I'm told it's kind of like football, but played a hundred feet in the air with broomsticks and charmed balls.

Now are we talking American Football or no? Though that does sound like it could be fun. Did you play?

Uh, no. British football. You know, the one you actually play with your feet.

Me? Merlin, no. That would have been an absolute disaster.

That's what I figured but I wanted to make sure you weren't talking about the American football.

Hey just as much fun to watch as it is to play. Whatever works for you and all that shit

Sure, it was fun to root for Gryffindor and all that. Plus, a lot of the people on the Gryffindor team were my friends, so cheering for them was almost as good as playing.
