Empire Ants

An attempt was made to fix the horrific lighting and colour grading on this episode. It worked really well in some scenes and... alright in others. But I tried, and that counts for something. Right?

I'm not exactly thrilled with how some of these came out, if I'm being honest. But considering the hot mess of colouring and lighting in these scenes - no, seriously - I gave up on aiming for perfection and just aimed for might possibly be usable.


( But, seriously, what is with this guy and the Mad Hatter? )

Half the time as I was making these, I thought I was working on more Noah Centineo icons. There's a reason my bff and I pb them as brothers. But no, this is in fact Matthew Daddario in a peculiarly titled movie which I've never actually seen: Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List.

Matt Daddario in Shadowhunters 2.15: A Problem of Memory. I feel like I keep saying this, but seriously the colours and lighting are a nightmare to work with on this show - particularly with the second season. But what can I say? I have an Alec muse and I wanted to make a few icons of the opening scene in this episode. Then it became a real set, and here it is.

This is the second and final set of Nicola Correia-Damude as Maryse Lightwood in Shadowhunters season two. At some point toward the end here, I got fed up with trying to make things look nice and decided that having greens that look blue and blues that look purple would just be the aesthetic I went with. To be honest, I don't think it turned out half bad, since I made sure not to turn Maryse herself into a smurf.

Part one of two sets featuring Nicola Correia-Damude as Maryse Lightwood in Shadowhunters season two. There's quite a few alternate croppings and peculiar expressions in here, since I tried to icon every screenshot I could get my hands on. Back when I started this project, there weren't any S2 icon sets for Maryse out the wild world of... the few places I actually check for icons. I'm not sure if that's the case any longer, but either way there's 400+ icons being added to the pot, now.

Contains negligible amounts of background Izzy and Alec, primarily hugging her.


( There are rumours that local shadowhunters have been interfering in Downworlder affairs. But you two wouldn't know anything about that, right? )

A whole bunch of Nicola Correia-Damude, some from social media and some from her role as Maryse Lightwood on Shadowhunters. This is one of likely three or more sets, since I've gone a bit overboard with making icons for a new muse of mine. I'd say I'm sorry, but that'd be a lie, so just enjoy the icons.

Also, there's a bit of other Shadowhunters characters/actors in this set, especially Alec (Matt Daddario) and Izzy (Emeraude Toubia) since they're relevant to my roleplay interests.
