Interestingly, they're also the first third I made because I work backward through each set when applying corrections to icons.

I must have redone the colouring and lighting on some of these enough times to count as doing the entire three parts of this set twice, and I'm still not entirely happy with how greenish or pinkish a few are. (Seriously, though, if this show gave names to the seasons, I'd nominate Maria DeLuca Avoids The Light for S1.)

I'm gonna be completely honest here: I have like zero mental energy lately and hate everything I make, so these took five times as long as they might have otherwise. I'm still not completely happy with the way some of these are too pinkish or too greenish, but I think most are pretty good.

So, how do I deal with the overwhelming task of trying to make Roswell, New Mexico icons? I tackle a tiny set of a side character, instead. It feels like productivity, okay.

Fun fact: I mentally blocked out 90% of the S1 finale, so I had to do a double-take when the wiki informed me Flint was in it. But he was - in one of the most horribly lit scenes I've struggled to icon since dealing with Riverdale. (Does the CW not have a lighting budget or...?)

Ah, yes, the wonderful world of 2000s-era teenage fashion! Considering I can't shake the vague "Adam Lambert mixed with Hot Topic kid who poses for 'stock photography' on deviantART" vibes coming off this aesthetic, I'd say the costume department did a decent job capturing the general look.

These come from Roswell, New Mexico episode 1.06: Smells Like Teen Spirit, the caps for which were made by capseroo. ♥ I'll be doing the rest of the set later, but figured I'd separate the young!Alex icons from everything else. (Tagging note: Tyler's in his early 30s, can easily pass as 20s, and is playing late 10s here. So age tag soup ensues.)

I did a thing using the fancified posters I made. Here's one icon for each of the main characters in Roswell, New Mexico because I'm all for sharing the love of this show.

This began with Alex and Michael, whose posters I fancified for journal layouts. (For usage examples, check out alexmanes and mikeguerin.) Then, it branched out into my incessant need to be a completionist and became an entire set of posters/graphics. I almost didn't share them, but I don't have muses for all these characters and there's no sense hoarding the pretties when maybe someone else can get use out of them.

So... here's one poster each for the main characters of Roswell, New Mexico, styled in sort of a paint brush reveal effect - for lack of better explanation. The images are 400x563 and ~500kb each, generally slightly less.
