This is by no means a comprehensive set because there are no full screencap compilations available online. Maybe I'll try making my own caps eventually, whenever I acquire a laptop capable of handling two continuous hours autocapping in VLC. 🤷🏻‍♀️ But hey, the world could always use more Cowboy Bebop in it and my recent re-watches (yes, plural) have provided a metric shitton of serotonin. If you don't love unicorns, you are wrong. Or you just don't like unicorns... in which case, it is my humble opinion that you are wrong.

This got way out of hand, and you can see the quality getting better as I tested different techniques while making these. By the end, I finally had the facepalm moment of realizing I could use Photoshop layer groups to maintain the different backgrounds and place the foregrounds on them. Oops!

This all began with a random photo my parabatai found wherein Betty's hair looked blue from the lighting. Her Betty happens to be in a relationship with my Toni, which means this line of thinking kinda spiralled out of control and became Betty should dye her hair. But where were we going to find blue-haired icons? Exactly. Thus, I volunteered faster than Katniss when Prim was reaped and these icons were born.

It only took like a week of hand-painting the hair (and occasionally shirts/makeup) and individually adjusting the lighting on some of my previous icon sets to create these. This is a thing sane people do... right?

Just a simple set because I liked the vector (I think) illustrations in the Best Friend Collection over at Creative Fabrica. (Available free until sometime tomorrow, according to the site.) Lots of doggos and their human companions... and some semi-plant, semi-abstract extras that also came with the pack.

You think I'm kidding about there probably being something for everyone in these? There's literally a Lego Santa Deadpool icon. There's also a plethora of holiday cookies, glowing lights, ornaments, plushies, and even a cat who climbed into a Christmas tree. So, yeah, take a peek. Maybe you won't regret it~

So, I didn't get started on these until the 24th and had too much stuff to deal with to actually finish them in time. But y'know what? There's still plenty of winter left and we can just call the Christmas-specific ones very early contenders for use next year. Or something like that.

Icons feature everything from hot chocolate and holiday cookies to wrapped presents and cute snowmen. And many, many things in between - including adorable puppies and people skiing. Seriously, unless you dislike winter in general, there's probably something in here you'll like.
