There were orange and black streamers. There were fake cobwebs. There were plastic skeletons sitting in at least two of the chairs, and a host of rubber insects scattered over the floor. There were also a variety of hugely unhealthy snacks; Cheetos, popcorn, potato chips...

Rose, whose cheapass 'costume' consisted of her usual goth outfit and a tiny dribble of blood in the corner of her mouth, poked her piles of horror DVDs. She had a LOT of horror DVDs, and was sorting them into categories loosely defined as torture porn, psychological horror and what she considered hilarious. After not very much thought, she put on Troll 2 and settled back to wait for people to show up.
