Lucas was sitting by the lake. He was watching the gentle waves and just thinking. He had little Iggy with him.

He was thinking about Layla mostly. How much he loved her and how much he missed her. He knew she needed this, he understood. But he still missed her terrible. He wondered if she missed him. Iggy was running around chasing his tail and nudging Lucas's leg looking for attention. Lucas petted him and rubbed his tummy, smiling at the fox cub.

He lay on his back and closed his eyes, soaking up the warm rays of the sun. So many different thoughts running through his mind. Little Iggy jumped on his stomach, curled up and fell asleep, snoring loudly.

	"Thanks. It's what I like doing" she answered "It sort of comes naturally to me. That's why I also do it so quickly" She turned and started drawing again intently, trying to give to the drawings the same expression the two had during their lunch the first time she met Layla (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	After a while she finished the second sketch and passed to the third, Lucas and Layla on their wedding day, stopping only a few seconds to sip more of her tea. She conjured in her mind the memory of what she had seen that day so she could make it as similar as possible. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He came back into the bedroom with two plates of sandwiches, chips on the side. He handed her a plate and sat on the bed. He started to eat his sandwich. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Yeah, I can imagine that. I don't really miss my own or my dad's cooking but I do miss my mom's chocolate chips cookies. They were special. I tried and tried to bake them the way she used to but I've never been able to do so..." her voice faded "They were so good. They stayed moist for days and they had a special flavour, a special tang..." she smiled at the memory.
"But your cooking is pretty good. Or, at least, your sandwiches are" she smiled
